What To Expect
Jewel House
Meet your local tour leader and head into the tower. You'll head straight to the Jewel House, which means you’ll be able to grab a prime spot to view the Crown Jewels. If you want to start your Tower of London tour with a behind-the-scenes look of day-to-day life at the Tower, select the Opening Ceremony option when booking. The Opening Ceremony is a notable military ritual that officially opens the famous historical edifice. After the Opening Ceremony, your tour will continue to the Jewel House.
Tower of London
You'll have free time to explore the entire complex at your own pace. Your tour leader will share suggestions based on your interests. By the end of your visit, you'll be equipped with the complete story of the Tower and its importance as a symbol of royal, state and historic power.

5.00This tour was amazing! My family and I had a great experience with Becki, our tour guide, and loved all the famous landmarks we got to see! Becki was so knowledgeable and informed us well of the history of each place we visited! This tour did a good job of condensing all the big famous places in London into a half-day adventure! 10/10 experience!

She was knowledgeable and answered all of our historical questions and provided us some fun facts. She also gave us good recommendations for places to see and proper British etiquette for pubs and afternoon tea. She made us feel welcome as first timers here in London. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Sue was our guide and she was lovely. I asked her everything from the black cabs of London to the history of Normans and Saxons, and she responded gracefully and knowledgeably. We were lucky with the beautiful weather in February and we got the chance to see the king going to Buckingham Palace. Her instincts are top notch. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to know London whether it's your first time traveling or not.

5.00I initially booked the tour because I knew that Walks has good knowledgeable guides. My hunch was definitely correct because Sue, our tour guide, was fantastic. My husband and I got lucky because we booked a group your, however we were the only ones on the tour and we ended up having a private tour. We even saw a glimpse of King Charles driving out with his entourage. What luck! And it was even sunny and not raining :) Thank you again Sue for your time and wonderful cultural information!

5.00Great tour at Tower of London!! Our tour guide Jane was lovely, extremely knowledgeable, and struck the perfect pace and balance on this tour. We both so enjoyed the vast amount of information about this incredible fortress, the viewing of the tower bridge and of course the crown jewels was amazing!! Loved meeting the ravens as well!!!

5.00Although I have been to London many times, I never had the opportunity of visiting the tower of London and I decided that on this trip I had to catch up! This tour is the one you want! right lenght, excellent expert autorised tour guide (by the way, thanks Jackie for your great knowledge and for how you entertained us!) and no crowds at all (being november we could really enjoy the visit of the jewels almost to ourselves) Highly reccomended!
