Kishan did an amazing job cooking for us. He's a great host and the experience is uniquely Grenadian and fantastic. If you're looking for an authentic island experience, please find your way over here. He'll even arrange for transportation to and from, which is strongly recommended.

What started out as a dreary, windy, rainy day ended up as our top experience in Grenada. Chef Kishan was great about keeping in touch using WhatsApp. He hosted us in his newly hand-built beach shack… it was a delicious meal made with a love of cooking learned from his grandmother. The sun came out! We booked on trip advisor but some folks from Montreal wandered in and he fed them too! The 5 of us sat down and ate together and learned from each other too! To top it off, Kishan took us to a local waterfall for an after lunch swim!! If you have an open mind and heart, and a sense of adventure, this experience is for you.

We had read about Doreen’s on here - this is not a restaurant- please be careful. They want your money. Please be careful.

The food was good but not exceptional. If you are looking for an 'out of the ordinary ' experience, this .ight be for you. It does not include transportation. I thought it was a bit overpriced since from St. George it was $40. American to get there.

Not quite what we were expecting, but the hospitality and the food was top shelf. Have to find your own ride to the east side of the island. (35 minutes from St. George’s) We were expecting a restaurant, not a tiny house with a bar and card table and folding chairs. It was immaculate though, Chef Kishan was totally attentive and the food was locally sourced organic well cooked Grenadian food. After some coconut water and a couple drinks, we had citrus appetizers and we had grilled fish (tuna) kebabs and chicken curry roti. Definitely authentic, maybe a little overpriced given we had to pay for the taxi ride but it was an island experience. The people were so friendly. Thanks Kishan. Best of luck.

A highlight of our trip to Grenada! I was looking for a food experience where we would be able to sample local cuisine and I booked the private chef experience with Chef Kishan. I liked how we got to select our menu ahead of time and the food was outstanding. The whole experience was memorable from the conversations, the hospitality, and the food. I would highly recommend
