What To Expect
- Upon your reservation, you will contact by our local operator and confirm the train time and seat class. - Receive the e-version of the ticket via email and Whatsapp - On arrival in the station, show your ticket on your phone to the ticket inspector - You will sit on reserved section of the train which assigned under your passport number - Enjoy the ride - Ride will end in Ella railway station Highly recommend you to reserve your tickets atleast 32 days ahead to get exactly what you prefer. If it is less than a month ahead, In case of unavailability of requested train time and class in higher demanding period, you will be given alternative train upon your confirmation.

1.00Better buy the tickets at the counter! You pay around 3€ per person. If the train is cancelled as with us you at least don't have to spend 40€. we had to take a tuk tuk to Ella for another 10$. Could have thrown the money out the window the same way.

5.00train is easy to access from the platform albeit the step is quite high seats are comfortable & plenty of leg room also plenty of luggage space in o/head racks we were in a first class car

5.00We didn’t know what to expect in terms of duration as we had read it could take up to 10hrs to get to Ella! We were fortunate that it took 6hrs, with amazing scenery the entire way. Second class reserved was very comfortable and we had piece of mind knowing we had reserved seats. We got the tickets WhatsApp’d to us at 3am the day of travel, all worked out well for us!

1.00The train ride itself is incredible, amazing views. Sadly the experience to book it here is just horrible! If you book the experience here,you actually don't know if you will get a ticket until the night before! It wasn't mentioned during the booking process that you might don't get tickets,it just says that they will send you the e-ticket the night before. What happens is: on the trains they hold back 70 tickets for officials,if they re not needed they go on sale during the night before travel and these are the tickets they wil TRY to get! Which is fair enough but it should be made clear I contacted them directly a few day before about the tickets and all they said that they will send a ticket during the night. On the day before they suddenly say that we might don't get tickets... asking if we can travel on a different train/day. We were travelling with 2 kids which made us not very flexible. Although we did say we really don't want 3rd class tickets,these were the only ones available in the end. The guide called/texted me at 1 am in the night saying that they managed to get tickets in 3rd class,but that they are like 2nd class tickets on other trains. We agreed,but surprise: they were not like 2nd class tickets! It was okay,but the seat are very hard and it wasn't amazing for such a long journey, especially with kids! Like mentioned before,the train ride itself and the views are amazing,but the experience the day/night before was just extremely stressful! So I would not recommend booking over here if you re set on dates and are not flexible or want to find out if you have a ticket more than a few hours before travel! Please please advertise what you re actually selling here to avoid disappointment and stressful situations like this!
