As night falls, West End Village becomes a flurry of activity with Happy Hours, live bands and restaurant specials. On most any day of the week there will be a local band playing, karaoke nights, dancing and D.J.’d music. Many of the annual celebrations such as Semana Santa (Easter week), and the Fishing Tournament (September) are held here. This is the best place on the island for nightlife as once you arrive there you have the option of bar hopping. At one bar we will include a welcome tequila shot. One thing to note as you walk down the main road in West End their will be lots of food vendors selling local Honduran food which you are welcome to try (not included in package)

This is the most famous bar in the West End for dancing on weekdays and until 12am and on weekends 2am. This is where you can go and meet the local crowd.
Dance and meet locals and expat in an open air bar with professional DJ and specials until 2am. You can actually see the stars from this bar.

4.00A nice atmosphere but became very noisy when more people arrived. The meals served to my friends looked impressive and each said they tasted very good. I ordered pan fry fish with roast vegetables as I am gluten free. I was a bit disappointed as my food was floating in fat from the roasted fennel which tasted awful. The fish was nice but spoilt by the fat underneath. I will know next time to only order salad and grilled fish if they offer it on the menu.
Compass Hotel by Margaritaville in West Bradenton, Florida, is the best deal in the Sarasota area.

5.00The Compass Hotel by Margaritaville in West Bradenton is up and running after Hurricane Milton with no visible damage or restricted access or limited services. Nearby Anna Maria Island is also back to business with its beautiful white sand beaches and delightful restaurants and shopping areas. My wife and I just spent a wonderful weekend on the coast there enjoying the family atmosphere of the hotel and the delights of the island. The hotel is just over the Manatee Causeway from Anna Maria and is ideally placed between Sarasota and Bradenton. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful with a fully stocked bar, marvelous breakfasts, all day food service, and an attached full-service restaurant called Floridays. Pets are welcome and the big swimming pool offers a great place to relax while the kids have fun. You cannot beat this hotel for its amenities and price.
