Magical visit to Abruzzo

5.00DegustAbruzzo was a magical experience—six days of exploring historic mountain villages, ancient castles and medieval churches, as well as savoring both wonderful seafood and home made pasta. We stayed in a lovely seaside town called Vasto on the Adriatic coast, where we were warmly welcomed by the owners of the travel company, Giuseppe and Michaela. From there, we made daily excursions with our amazing English-speaking guide Antonio and learned so much about the history and culture of Abruzzo. We ate shrimp and mussels on a Traboccho, a fishing platform suspended over the Adriatic, and delicious Pecorino cheese in a tiny mountain town called San Sebastián de Sessiano, tasted wine at the Jaschi winery and ate a delicious pasta lunch in an old farmhouse..Every day was an adventure, exploring cobble-stone villages tucked in the mountains and climbing up to castles from the 10th century impossibly set on cliff tops An unforgettable holiday!

5.00I had many expectations with this trip... that they were small next to so vast! Green valleys, mountains, sea, castles of stories, so much history... I returned with a soul full of beautiful and unforgettable memories. And the people... beautiful town of Abruzzo, proud of its roots, its land. Beautiful people!! So kind always! THANK YOU INFINITELY DEGUSTABRUZZO, for choosing the right route to know so much in a short time. I would definitely choose them again!
