The adventure starts when we pick up everyone from the meeting point. There we will tell you how we organize the tour and which direction we will be going.
During the night our guide will share stories, information and important facts about the Aurora.
To avoid being cold during the nights, we will make a fire to sit around and enjoy warm food and hot drinks. We will also have blankets, thermal clothing and snow boots for who needs them.
When the show of the Aurora Borealis starts, we will share advice to be able to take your best photos. We will also take professional photos of you to take home as souvenirs.
The tour has a usual duration between 6 and 8 hours. It can be shorter or longer depending on the conditions of the night.
In all our tours we accept wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. We also are prepared to guide people with visual or hearing impairments. And we always work on creating a comfortable experience for neurodivergent people as well.

6 of us travel together with one person have reduced mobility who need to travel on wheelchair. We communicate with Disabled Accessible Travel and been connect with Tromso Accessible Tours. Jo and Jackie offered big helps for our tour from fixing the date to checking on our wheelchair size, our size for tick winter outfit etc. However, we need to postpone our tour date by two days due to bad weather condition. Though we do not seem much aurora lighting but it is an excellent travel experience for all of us. Really enjoying the atmosphere of siting around campfire for a cup of hot soap. Thank you Martin.

This was the highlight of our trip to Norway. We felt confident knowing that our aurora tour could be enjoyed by our whole family, including my 81-yr-old mother in law. This was a bucket list experience for her, and Tromsø Accessible Tours delivered. I'm so glad this business exists. Martin, the founder, was our aurora tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and fun. We also did their Sami Reindeer Experience with Marina, who was fantastic. Couldn't recommend them more!

We enjoyed all the tours booked with them. We did the reindeer experience and then we do a 2 night private chase. They were very helpful and responsive from the start. They had asked for all the details they needed from us and then had the thermal suits and others all included. They were all very nice and helpful. Tours were comfortable. They had the coffee, tea, hot coffee and the soup on the tours. We had the thermal blankets and they also did the fire for us both nights, with the setup of chairs and all. We felt we were with family. They took very good care of us. We highly recommend them for any tour that you want to take in Tromso. Seeing the aurora was the highlight of the trip.

We had a great experience with Tromso Accessible Tours (we booked with Northern Light Tours but I guess they are co-operating). It's a small group tour for six on a van which my husband and I really liked this warm and cozy group. We arrived Tromso on Christmas Eve which was a very windy day. Our guide, Bruno, found a wonderful site where we were safe and well-sheltered from the wind. He prepared the yummie hot vegan soup with bread, hot chocolate and even a bottle of sparkling tea for us to celebrate Christmas. We were super excited to witness a cloudy sky changing into a stunning aurora show. Awesome! Bruno answered all our questions and took care of everyone's need all the way. He took photos for us and sent them over after the trip. Highly recommended the tour and their wonderful services.

This is a great company! If you are in need of an accessible tour, I would highly recommend them. My wife is in a wheelchair. We booked the aurora lights tour and the reindeer tour and both we excellent from start to finish. They took very good care of us.
