Come with us for our Express Aurora Hunt and have a guaranteed early return to Tromsø city centre. Leave the city lights behind and travel into the Arctic wilderness. During this activity, our small team of Aurora guides check the forecasts and use local knowledge to decide on the best place to chase the Northern Lights within an hour drive away from town. On this activity we will travel wherever looks safest and with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights within 1 hr of Tromsø city centre. Once we arrive to the best location available we will enjoy a warm drink and a sweet biscuit together while we wait. We'll have you back to the city centre by midnight, so you can be well rested the next morning.

Participants must be over 4 years old - we can accept younger children, however parents must bring car seat, thermal clothing and meal, and office must be informed
Not recommended for travellers unable to walk on uneven or icy terrain.

5.00Gerard was wonderful! Vitek the driver also was great. They brought us to a secluded spot where we saw 360 degree lights. Got us back to the cruise ship exactly as promised.

2.00Long drive, disappointing refreshments (herbal tea and an overcooked - but home made- biscuit) but the main disappointment was standing in a lay-by, next to an idling lorry ( with its lights on) by the side of a busy road to view the Northern Lights…I expected somewhere more quiet…I do appreciate that the lights appear and do their thing unpredictably, but it would have been nice to be more than 20 feet from the main road…
