You’ll set off on a scenic drive westward, crossing the bridge that connects Tromsø to the island of Kvaløya. As you travel, you’ll cross three fjords and pass through the valley of Kattfjordeidet. You’ll make short stops to take photos, breathe in the fresh Arctic air, and immerse yourself in nature. Keep your eyes open—you might spot reindeer or other wildlife roaming freely across the landscape.
In Sommarøy, known as “the Summer Island,” you’ll relax and enjoy a warm two-course lunch (soup and dessert) while enjoying stunning coastal views.
On your return journey, you’ll drive along the southeast coast of Kvaløya, where you can admire the beautiful vistas of the Sund and the Malangen mountains. You can join this experience whether you use a wheelchair, have reduced mobility, or live with visual, hearing, or neurodivergent conditions. Every tour is designed to make you feel comfortable and included from start to finish.

A interactive and awesome inspiring trip around the Fjords and islands

5.00From the onset Martin is warm and welcoming and very chatty. His enthusiasm is infectious and his local knowledge was impressive. The landscape and terrain of Kvaløya and Sommarøy is breathtaking taking and Martin made regular stops at beautiful locations to allow us take photographs. And offer to take photos of our group as a free inclusion of the service. The lunch at the Sommarøy hotel was similarly high quality and plentiful. Far from being a quiet drive around the islands and fjords this tour was everybody the interactive journey full of stunning scenery, information and the jovial wit of a very welcoming and knowledgeable guide.

5.00Had a wonderful trip on the "Fjords Tour of Kvaløya and Sommarøy" with Martin and 3 other tourists. We made 5 stops on the way to Sommarøy Arctic Hotel along the northwest route and another 2 stops, along the southeast route, while going back to Tromso. Martin shared many of his knowledge and experience of Norway and its region and the scenery is fabulous. We totally enjoyed the trip and would recommend 'Tromsø Accessible Tours' to anyone.

I am a amateur photographer looking after northern lights, and having had a very bad experience last year in Iceland.Chasing northern lights, it was OK, with two nights of success out of 3. Very good installations and food, very kind and careful people. I recommend for photo lovers. We were by ourselves but for a visit with dinner to the Sami people.

5.00We had an absolutely great day with our guide Martin! He is a passionate, warm and humorous person who knows the region at his fingertips. Thanks to him, we discovered many beautiful places that we would never have found on our own. We were a small group of only four people (the guide included), which made the tour even more friendly and personalized. He took us by car across the region, under a beautiful sun. Besides, it was our only good weather day of the stay, which made the experience even more special. He also showed us an excellent hotel-restaurant (Arctic Hotel in Sommarøy) for lunch, where we had a long chat with him. You can feel that he is really in love with the region, even if he is not from it (he is Spanish), and he introduces it with communicative enthusiasm. In addition, he speaks several languages, including French, which makes the exchanges very easy and pleasant. Beyond the beauty of the landscapes, what we particularly appreciated was the philosophy of Tromsø Accessible Tours: to make the discovery of the fjords and the region possible for everyone, with respect for the rhythm, comfort and needs of everyone. This sincere attention to accessibility, in the broad sense, human as well as material, gives the experience a rare depth. In short, a great experience, both rewarding and full of good humor. We highly recommend this tour and guide to anyone who wants to discover the area differently!

5.00Our tirp with Tromsø Fjords Tour of Kvaloya and Sommaroy trip is wonderful. The Tromsø Fjords is absolutely breathtaking! Fjords is a kind of nature magic you can only see in a few countries, among which Norway Tromso Fjords is absolute a must have. The scenery here is like a postcard. Nature truly outdid itself here. 100% worth the trip! Our tour guide - Anastasia, a very professional and dedicated guide, she is always knowledge about all the sites and also very patient to give us more details for the scinery we have visted. She is full of energy and willing to answer all our questions about Tromsø or other fjords. She is a five-stars tour guide! A small tips, need to bring more clothes, it could be very cold even in summer.

5.00Martin provided a wonderful 5 and a half hour tour for my wife and me and 8 others (all from the same cruise ship) in a van to see the Tromso-area fjords. The tour included a light, excellent lunch at a beautiful spot on one of the smaller islands. Martin is a fabulous guide - warm, friendly, engaging, flexible, and knowledgeable, and with good command of English. He was eager to meet the group’s needs. He takes great photos (optional) which are available free-of-charge for “screen” quality, with an extra charge for higher quality resolution. We had a great day and recommend Martin very highly!
