Your evening begins at our Tromsø meeting points. Routes may go up to two hours one way, crossing fjords and valleys as we chase clear skies supported by our 24/7 Back Office Aurora Command Center and 150 plus staff across Northern Scandinavia. When skies open, step into remote Arctic scenery as guides capture professional DSLR photos of you under the Aurora.
Thermal overalls, hot drinks, and light snacks are included. With 4–6 hours total, this is Tromsø’s most complete Northern Lights hunt by bus.

Begin your evening in Tromsø, where you’ll meet Arctic GM’s expert Aurora Hunter guides. From here, the hunt begins — routes may lead up to two hours from the city in search of clear skies, navigating fjords, mountain passes, and inland climate pockets. Your guides share Aurora science, Arctic nature, and local legends, supported by Arctic GM’s 24/7 Back Office Aurora Command Center and over 150 field team members across Northern Scandinavia. When conditions align, your journey pauses at hand-picked wilderness locations, far from city glow. Step out into quiet Arctic darkness as shimmering waves of green — sometimes purple — swirl across the night sky. Your guides capture professional DSLR photos of you under the lights, while you warm up with thermal overalls, hot drinks, and light snacks. A perfect blend of science, nature, and Northern magic — and a night you’ll never forget.

5.00I had a great tour with arctic gm experiences, david, our guide, and hassan, our driver, were both super friendly and helpful and were looking for good places for us to watch the aurora borealis - these were also breathtaking yesterday night. the tour was super organized, we were traveling as a small group, and therefore also very flexible, so we could change the location to watch in between. which was also great, david took pictures of us with the aurora borealis, these we will receive in the coming days. There was also hot chocolate. I had a great evening / night after a rainy day in tromsø, thanks again to the crew who made this possible, the tour is highly recommended!
Very good guide ,He kept trying to hunt the activity through Finland ( Arctic road) , finally we saw the big show.

5.00I didn’t think we would get to see the aurora as the forecast wasn’t good However Christoph our amazing driver took us as far out as was possible where we waited Georgio our guide was awesome and really knew his stuff He helped us to position ourselves for the best view and advised when new activity was imminent He took lots of photos and everyone had equal opportunity to engage with him The cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate were much appreciated as we waited for the next display All in all an amazing experience and something to tick off my bucket list Thank you very much to Arctic GM

5.00Amazing Aurora tour! Within just 30 minutes of driving, we were lucky enough to see one of the most majestic auroras dancing across the sky with beautiful, vibrant colors. Huge thanks to Luigi and Vincent — they were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience smooth and unforgettable. The tour is definitely worth the money ,one of the cheapest options on all the website , but absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!
