  This was one of the highlights of our trip. Riccardo and Monica, our exceptional hosts, made us feel welcomed and genuinely cared about our experience. Although we arrived a bit late, they didn’t shorten or change our plan, ensuring we had the full experience. Riccardo’s passion and enthusiasm during the hunt were evident, and our daughter enjoyed petting their dogs, which helped her miss our dog a little less during the trip. Monica had prepared a delicious truffle tasting plate with her homemade bread, which was very tasty. My parents, who joined us from India enjoyed the walk through the Tuscany forest and ranked it one of the best parts of the trip. Thank you Monica and Riccardo for this memorable experience.

  This experience was worth every penny! Ricardo and Monica are kind, knowledgeable people and their dogs are truly amazing. We walked in the woods for one and a half hour and the dogs found five truffles in the most impressive way. I can highly recommend staying for lunch - Monica cooked among other things a delicious pasta with the fresh truffles for a good price. Thank you!

  We had the best experience. Really authentic with a family that have been truffle hunting for years. The women running it and hunting for the truffle were lovely and friendly and spoke good English. 1010 for the enthusiasm and excitement and letting us have a go for ourselves. The truffle lunch was amazing and fresh with white truffle they had just got out the ground. There was also a lovely shop which prices were fair and lots under 5 euros. It was so unique but made better by the lovely people running it. You do yourselves proud would recommend to anyone , book with confidence for an authentic experience

  Riccardo and his wife are wonderful people and teachers about truffle hunting. It was fascinating to see their dogs Maya and Birba work as a team! They found five pieces in the span of about 1 hr and then we had a great antipasto plate with truffle products and a fantastic lunch. My kids enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

  My family and I had such a special amazing time with Riccardo and his dogs Maya and Bilba on the truffle hunt. Riccardo took the time to really explain all the details of the hunt to the children and the hunting dogs were so much fun! We found many black truffles and the kids got a big kick out of each discovery. After the hunt , we stayed for lunch and Riccardo’s wife Monica cooked us a delicious lunch with our truffles. This is one of those experiences that really takes you off the beaten path of the typical tourist experience and lets you get a more authentic taste of small town Tuscan life. We really recommend this for really all travelers to Tuscany.

  We had a wonderful tour with Riccardo. We learned so much from him about truffles. His two dogs were so sweet and super smart. The tasting at the end was very generous. It was one of our top activities during our vacation We highly recommend!

  If you're looking for an authentic and delicious experience in the Italian countryside, look no further than a truffle hunt with Riccardo and his incredible dogs, Maya and Bilba. From the moment we met husband and wife team Riccardo and Monica, their passion and knowledge for truffle hunting, a tradition spanning over 80 years in her family, were immediately evident. The hunt itself was a truly awesome experience. Watching Maya and Bilba, their clever and energetic dogs, expertly sniff out truffles in the woods was fascinating. Riccardo was a fantastic guide, sharing insights into the process and the history of truffle hunting while his furry companions excitedly led the way. Back at their charming home and business, Monica had prepared a delicious truffle tasting spread. We savored delicate truffle slices alongside an array of incredible truffle products, including truffle honey, truffle balsamic, and truffle cheese. The fresh fruit, homemade focaccia, and local wine perfectly complemented the truffle delicacies, creating a truly memorable experience. Riccardo and Monica are a genuinely lovely and friendly couple who embody the warmth of Italian hospitality. Their deep knowledge, combined with their family's long-standing tradition, makes this truffle hunting experience truly special.
