A tour of Tsitsernakaberd, Echmiatsin Treasury, and Noy Brandy Company would be a unique and memorable experience that combines history, culture, and gastronomy. Tsitsernakaberd is a sobering memorial complex that honors the victims of the Armenian Genocide, and provides an opportunity for visitors to reflect on the tragedies of the past. Echmiatsin Treasury, on the other hand, is a treasure trove of religious artifacts, including ancient manuscripts, crosses, and vestments, that reflect Armenia's rich spiritual heritage. Finally, a visit to Noy Brandy Company offers a chance to sample some of Armenia's finest brandies, which have earned international acclaim for their exceptional quality. Together, these three sites offer a diverse and fascinating glimpse into Armenian history, culture, and tradition.

Tsitsernakaberd

Our first stop is Tsisternakaberd mounment Tsitsernakaberd is a memorial complex located in Yerevan, Armenia, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. The complex consists of a towering granite stele and twelve slabs surrounding it, representing the twelve provinces of historical Western Armenia, where the genocide took place. At the base of the monument is an eternal flame, symbolizing the memory of the victims who lost their lives during the genocide. The memorial also includes a museum which showcases the history and atrocities of the genocide. The monument serves as an important symbol of remembrance and mourning for the Armenian people, and a reminder to the world to prevent similar atrocities from happening in the future.

Nvard, the tour guide is such a nice lady. She speaks English well and is very knowledgeable about every place and it's history. She even volunteered to be my photographer because I am a solo traveller. I greatly enjoyed this tour!
