Very pleased we grabbed the ‘last minute’ opportunity to do this cruise. Everything was fantastic from start to finish, & especially the restaurant food & service. The huge variety of superbly cooked & presented meats & vegetables was amazing. And table service, very pleasant & attentive. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sheep shearing demo, the young shearer did a truly fantastic job. Absolutely wonderful afternoon from start to finish.

Highly recommend this tour. We had a sunny day and the boat trip was great. Friendly staff. At Walter peak the restaurant staff manage the big number of guests smoothly. Great service and the gourmet bbq is delicious. So well done. The farm show is lovely. We enjoyed it very much.

Loved this tour! It is a 3 in 1 deal… a ride in an old steamship, followed by a great buffet lunch (all you can eat face stuffing!), then an education watching sheep shearing and a sheepdog enjoying its work. Almost four hours of total fun and well worth the ticket price.

Believed we had book the Steam Ship, but ended up on a modern cat. The web pages shows the steam ship but the small print covers both so a bit misleading.

The day began with a relaxing ride across the beautiful Lake Whakatipu on the TSS Earnslaw, a vessel with lots of history. We were given an opportunity to go below and see the fantastic steam engine in operation. The cruise included snacks, drinks and even some live music. On arrival at the huge restaurant of Walter's Peak we were efficiently allocated our seats and totally surpised at the size and variety of the lunchtime offering. After lunch we enjoyed the Farm Show where Josh the shearer and Mia his enthusiastic sheepdog put on a great show, entertaining and informative. All together a thoroughly enjoyable day out.
