5.00This tour is the best way to tour the Tsukiji Fish Market. We had access to stalls that we otherwise would not have known about. We tried food that we wouldn’t have known to try and our tour guide was excellent. Our kids were entertained as well trying the new foods.

5.00This was a great way to see the Tsukiji fish market. The place is extremely crowded and there are hundreds of different stalls. Without a guide it would be overwhelming to know what was going on. This tour helped our family to learn about the history of the market and area, try foods we would not have sampled had we not been on a tour, and learn about the some key foods in Japanese cuisine. Our kids (14 and 10) had fun making sushi rolls. We liked learning about ingredients and then seeing them sold at the stalls in the market. Ken, our guide, made accommodations for our kids tastes when getting samples (instead of the red bean dessert he got our kids strawberry tanghulu, got beef options for our 10 year old who didn’t like sushi, etc.). Walking around this market felt like a mix of tourists and locals. We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend it to others.
We made sushi, had different tastings from different stalls including sushi, kobe beef, lobster, eggs. Great selection.
