We arrived at the market for our tour but turns out we were not in the correct location. We weren't clear on the meeting place. We called and the tour guide tried to get us to the location but it was difficult to understand on a poor phone connection. The tour guide asked us to book again and they would squeeze us in to the 11 tour. We walked 35 min to what we thought was the correct location but again we were in the wrong spot. We gave up. The tour operator did refund the amount of the second booking which was greatly speciation. Based on the other reviews,we missed a great tour.

This tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Shogun, was extremely knowledgeable about Tokyo and the fish market! He also accommodated my diet restrictions, which I very much appreciated!

Our tour with Molly was absolutely outstanding. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire behind-the-scenes experience both educational and entertaining. The food samples were delicious and thoughtfully selected, adding even more to an already amazing tour. Molly’s enthusiasm and personality truly made the experience memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone — and if you get Molly as your guide, you’re in for a real treat!

Tour was only 1.5 hours vs 3. First stop was great. The rest were pretty lame and food was minimal. Bottle of sake for group was already opened/half full that guide brought. Very little descriptions… just the first stop was informative

After having taken many major food tours over the years this was an almost total disappointment. Advertised as a 2 1/2 tour which ended abruptly before 90 minutes. First stop was great as advertised, where we observed preparation of the tuna and got to make our own sushi in a restaurant setting (the only time we sat down) but it went rapidly downhill from there. There was one stop for black cod in a miso sauce. The rest of the market walk consisted of simply following our guide around a very packed market with little explanation of what we were seeing and no more sampling of food. The second restaurant stop wasn’t available so we missed this. The grand finale consisted of crowding around a standup table and our guide pulling out a previously opened bottle of sake and 3 types of tasteless fish which we had to share with our partner. This seemed at best an improvised move by our tour guide after missing the one stop. At this point our group was surprised to hear the tour was over. No cultural component due largely to our guides poor English skills. A very disappointing experience for everyone in our group.
