We strongly recommend to start at 5AM for the best views and experiences. Starting from your hotel or train station or anywhere within our pickup area, for 2 to 3-hour ride through dense areas, tradisional markets, and the mountainous winding roads.
After arriving, we will see the waterfall panorama from the above. Take a walk down through a thousand steps and enjoy the tumpak sewu from the bottom. Take tons of pictures and continue to Telaga Biru for a dip-in. Climb up to the beautiful Goa Tetes, a hiden place that a few knows about and back to the parking lot.
Bottled mineral water is available on board for free, and a pit stop for coconut at the end of the trip.
Meals is not provided, but you can ask to stop by and try Malang local foods in your way back to hotel.
Other option is to take a 2 hours atv rides near waterfall for 600k/pax/atv.

What To Expect
Malang
We are going from Malang city center through some rural area with the view of Mount Semeru, the highest mountain in Java which is 3,676 m asl. Traditional market and the crowd doing morning activities are the view along the curvy road for about 2 hours one way.
Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
Prepare your swimming suit and tracking shoes for an adventuring trip to the biggest waterfall in Java. After arriving, we will see the waterfall panorama from above. Take a walk down through a thousand steps and enjoy the tumpak sewu from the bottom. Take tons of pictures and continue to Telaga Biru for a dip-in. Climb up to beautiful Goa Tetes and back to the parking lot. You will need a strong heart and a pair of healthy knees for the 3 to 4 hours of exploration. Not recommended for elders or children under 10. There are some stalls selling fruits and snacks around the area.

5.00A really great experience! The landscape is absolutely stunning. We truly appreciated the kindness of our guide, Moury, and our driver, Fani — both were incredibly helpful and made the experience even more enjoyable. Some parts of the path were a bit challenging, but definitely worth it.

5.00Fani was an amazing guide. He tailored the trip to my interests and abilities, offering many options for getting close to the waterfalls and exploring caves. He took lots of photos and videos along the way. I was glad I wore trail running shoes and not sandals because there was lots of walking through water on rocks. Fani was careful to point out places that were more slippery, and there were never any issues. Because we arrived early and didn't follow the same route as other guides, we had most places to ourselves.

5.00The pickup worked very well. On site, guide Calvin accompanied us throughout the tour to the waterfall, caves, etc. We walked among rocks, watercourses, and much more, and mastered many steps, but this was worth it. A really great and very wet experience, we had a lot of fun doing it. This resulted in super beautiful photos that Calvin took. Finally we received a coconut :)

5.00Wow HIGHLIGHT of my 3 week trip to Indonesia! ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL WATERFALLS! Bima was a great driver and really helpful and courteous. He drove me there and back to and from Surabaya. Rio was a fantastic guide, he really took wonderful pictures and knew exactly the safest path around the waterfalls!

5.00Perfect trip from Malang to Tumpak Sewu. Clean and comfortable car, and the views at Tumpak were amazing. The guide really made the trip: very friendly and knowledgeable on the wildlife, Indonesian history & culture, and the best spots to get good photos. I used the same company and guide to take a Bromo sunrise trip, which was also awesome. Highly recommended for solo female travellers!

5.00Very well organized and satisfying. Tumpak Sewu Waterfall is one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Most visitors only visit its circular waterfall, although there are many spots to visit. Fortunately, Mas Fani will take you to visit many hidden gems, so be prepared to get wet, because he will take you to a more challenging route. I took a day trip from Malang. I was picked up at 5.10 am, arrived at 7.00 am, then had a 6-hour trip. During the trip, I also got a chance to try tropical fruits under the falls and Indonesia’s favorite food, “gorengan”. Before returning to the hotel, I was served a super yummy noodles, anyway you can choose any kind of food you like. Your trip will be well documented, as well as both photos and videos. Thank you for the great trip. My weekend was well spent! 🤝🤝

5.00Very pleasant excursion with our private driver and our guide waiting for us directly on site! The waterfall was impressive and our guide did everything to make this experience lively and dynamic, as well as being a quality photographer ahah! We recommend ++++ you should plan: swimsuit and spare clothes absolutely and even water shoes ideally!
