What To Expect

Upon arrival in Tunisia, you will meet with Across Africa Tours representative who will help you clear any formalities or customs and tranfer your to your hotel (booked by your expenxe) Accommodation: self-booked hotel (I recommend Belvedere Fourati Hotel)

Tunis

After breakfast, head to the old medina of Tunis (A cultural tour, not a shopping one). Stroll in its narrow alleys and admire its architecture. Learn more about the old medina with your travel guide and visit its must-see: Zitouna mosquée / medresas /Kasbah boulevard…etc.Head to the military museum and visit to learn more about Tunisian history. Continue to Lagoulette and enjoy a grilled fish meal. At 2h30 Pm, head to Carthage, the Roman city, and visit its different components (Byrsa hill, Antonine baths, Punic sanctuary…etc.).Enjoy a free time to stroll in Sidi Bousaid, the blue and white village dominating the bay of Tunis and offering a unique view.
