Our guides have 10 years of experience in Ishigaki island as a scuba diving and snorkeling instructors and knows all the best spots in the area, which makes this sea turtle snorkeling tour possible!

What To Expect

Snorkeling with sea turtles in Ishigaki is the highlight of our small-group, English speaking, eco tour! Join our fluent English-speaking guide and explore Ishigaki’s best snorkeling spots like the Blue Cave, Yonehara Beach, Osaki Beach and many more. We travel by van (NOT BY BOAT) and enter the water directly from the beach, giving you more time to enjoy the ocean. With up to 2 hours of snorkeling, you’ll swim with turtles, discover healthy corals, colorful fish, and even reef sharks. Our tours are eco-friendly, marine-responsible, and kept small for a relaxed, safe experience. Free underwater photos are included so you can remember your turtle adventure forever!

We had a very good Snorkling trip with Zohar, we came to the location early (8 am) so there would not be so many tourists. The sea turtles were amazing and there's beautiful corral and different fish to see. Zohar was very clear in explanations, had the lead of the group while Snorkling and pointed out nice fishes. Would definitely recommend

Zohar is amazing! Very nice snorkeling tour, he knew some good spots for turtles and other animals and also shared interesting information about Ishigaki.

We had an amazing experience with Discover Ishigaki! Everything was really well organized from start to finish, and our guide was super friendly and professional. The snorkeling spots were absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water and so many colorful fish and corals. We even got to see turtles, which was a real highlight! We would 100% recommend Discover Ishigaki to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and unforgettable experience!

An exceptional snorkeling trip with Zohar! I had the chance to do a snorkeling session guided by Zohar, and it was just great. Snorkelling with Zohar was a really nice experience. Even if the weather wasn't perfect, it turned out very funny. It was my first snorkelling experience and he made everything very easy. He is friendly and available to give you an intersting insight into Ishigaky Island history. I definitely recommend Zohar as snorkelling tour guide.

I booked two tours via Discover Ishigaki - the hiking tour and the snorkeling tour. Both were amazing! During the tours, I had the chance to hike up a waterfall, enjoy amazing views, see all kinds of animals both above and under water, and eat tasty ice cream and oranges. Zohar was a superb guide who took great care at ensuring the well-being and enjoyment of all participants. I was very concerned that I might miss a large part of the island without a rental car, but thanks to Discover Ishigaki I got to see a lot - Highly recommended!

Great experience for the kids first snorkel. Despite the challenging weather Zohar found a good spot and we saw turtles, shark, eel, sea snake, tiger fish and more! We also received memorable photos and videos of our experience. Overall highly recommend.

Our snorkeling trip with Zohar was definitely one of the highlights of our trip around Japan! 🌊🇯🇵 Zohar’s fluent English made everything super easy and enjoyable — a rare and very welcome bonus here, where the language barrier can sometimes be tricky. We got tons of great tips and recommendations along the way. Don’t stress about the weather — even if it’s pouring rain, it usually clears up fast. What looks like a gloomy morning can turn into a perfect day by the time you hit the water… and hey, you’re getting wet anyway! 😅🐠
