Fabulous day out in the Tuscany countryside with our wonderful guide, Genevra who looked after us all so well. Lots of interesting information about all the places we visited. First stop was Siena. Our local guide walked us through the town passed the town square to the cathedral. Stunning! Then on for a delicious lunch with plenty of wines to taste before heading to San Gimignano for a brief look around. On to Pisa. I recommend adding the ticket to climb the tower. It was great. A long, but wonderful day. Thank you Genevra!

Our tour guide, think her name was Marisela or something like that, was very good. Great way to see the all of the sites of Tuscany in a day without having to drive or coordinate regional trains. The only negative is that this is a bus tour and they will take money and let in anyone and everyone — including children at a winery (why!?) and elderly people who did not seem to understand assignment (a lot of walking!) — but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a better option

The experience was ok, the tour guide was really nice and friendly. I, however, think there needs to be major changes to trip design. It was really tiring for families to catch up with the tour considering they had strollers for babies. The tour guide was walking so fast and not giving good directions how to reach out with strollers. We were panicking because we weren’t able to reach and we had to walk too much for no reason as well as to cross traffic lights with children which wasn’t a very good idea. I’m sure the buses were able to get us closer to the attractions. Also, there were really limited times to visit all places and difficulties in finding toilets. One cannot really know if time allows for visiting the sites, having a proper meal or find a toilet! On a separate note, the other tour guide in Sienna wasn’t really good. I think we needed someone with a better English language. It’s obvious she knows English but her pronunciation isn’t good enough for us to understand. Besides, she was breathing too loud and seems to be really tired due to her age. As a result, I think the plan needs considerable improvement.

Excellent way to see a lot in one day. Fast paced and lots of walking. Not much time for strolling or meandering but enough to see the hilights if you’re on a tight schedule. Our guide, Manny, was fantastic and not overbearing or annoying, which I appreciated. The separate tour guide with headset in Sienna wasn’t necessary. We would have rather walked on our own. She talked quickly with little pause and it got difficult to follow and stay engaged so I would skip that. Overall an outstanding trip for seeing a lot in one day

There is not much free time to look around each place but if you don’t want to visit specific sites the guide is happy for you to wander off and meet later. The tour guide Alex was informative and fun and the farmhouse lunch was delicious.
