What To Expect
Florence
We will meet at the front of Santa Maria Novella train station at 7:45am, ready for an 8.00am start. Your guide will be holding a WALKABOUT TOURS sign, right by the taxi stand at Santa Maria Novella train station across from the outside McDonald's. After meeting your expert guide, an air-conditioned coach will whisk you away to the first stop of the day, Siena. The drive to Siena will take about 1 hours 15 minutes. During the journey, your guide will explain the itinerary for the day and entertain you with interesting facts about Siena and Tuscany!!!
Siena
Siena is a real medieval gem and in fact one of Tuscany's most famous and beautiful hill top towns. When you arrive you will join a 1 hour guided walking tour with a local city guide through Siena's most beautiful streets and sites, including the entrance to the Cathedral, a treasure chest of artworks. Afterwards, enjoy Siena at your own pace with free time for shopping or relaxing in an open-air cafe.

5.00I can’t say enough about how great this tour was. It was the perfect opportunity to get out of the city and see some of the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Our guide Alessandro and driver Gaspare were both fantastic and provided such a wonderful tour experience. Alessandro did a great job providing historical background before each location so that we knew the significance of each area. The tour allowed for ample free time, but also provided a great walking tour in Sienna with another local guide Federica- who was incredibly knowledgeable. The lunch was incredible and allowed us to see a local agriturismo winery in the countryside with the most gorgeous view- even on a cloudy rainy day. I can’t recommend this tour enough for those visiting Florence.

5.00Pick up point is NOT where Viator send you. This tour is run by Walkabout Tours Florence...look for their sign at the Taxi Rank at the Station. Alex was a fabulous tour guide. Very good value for money. Alot of walking. Food fabulous for lunch.

4.00Way too much walking from bus to sites. San Gimignano was a waste of time. Long walk to the bathroom was it. Siena was wonderful one of the most beautiful cathedrals we have ever seen. The winery stop was great, the food was terrific and the staff great. Bus driver and guide were outstanding!!!!! Pisa is too long a walk for a photo op.

5.00The day was great! Our tour guide was absolutely amazing! He even helped me find my phone when it went missing! The tour is perfectly described on the Viator app as to what you will do for the day. Personally all in our group said if we did it again we wouldn’t go to Pisa and would have really wanted to stay longer in the other two towns. The wine tasting and lunch is an absolute must!!
