Meet your local guide before heading for the hills on a scenic drive through the Tuscan countryside. Your first stop for the day is gothic Siena, famous for its medieval streets. Choose to join a guided tour through the city(free entry inside the Cathedral is included). Or, alternatively, you're free to marvel the sights of Siena at your own pace, enjoy a drink in an open air cafe and meet the locals. Enjoy a stroll among Chianti vineyards, olive groves and wine cellars before indulging in a traditional Tuscan lunch amongst the Sienese hills where Chianti wine is produced. Surrounded by grapes vines you'll have the opportunity to meet fellow travelers while feasting on local foods including cold meats, salads, pasta and bread. A wine-tasting class will be held during lunch including free samples of wine and olive oil (which are also available for purchase). After lunch you will visit San Gimignano where you can roam the maze of cobbled streets and small squares, grab a gelato and walk between San Gimignano's famous 14 towers. Your final stop is Pisa, where you can take an up-close inspection of The Leaning Tower, view the Cathedral, the Baptistery and monumental Cemetery in Pisa before venturing back to Florence where your full-day tour concludes. Want to skip the long lines at the Leaning Tower of Pisa? Upgrade to the Tour & Leaning Tower of Pisa option and you’ll receive pre-booked entrance tickets. This was well worth the ticket price!! Our guide Miriella, was the perfect tour guide and made the day extra- special. The locations were fabulous, the lunch at the vineyard delicious and gorgeous. Greta timing for all stops. A long day but can’t imagine doing it on our own. Grateful for this experience!

This was an excellent way to see so much of the Tuscan countryside in a day! Our tour guide Gabriel and our driver Pepe were top notch - very friendly, engaging, and informative. Definitely do the lunch at the winery, that is not to be missed. Do be aware that there is a significant amount of walking on this tour, some of it a bit steep and most of it on somewhat uneven ground. My mother in law has a little difficulty walking, and our guide Gabriel truly went above and beyond to help us get taxis to shorten the amount of walking for her at the appropriate times.

Manolo, our guide, was engaging and knowledgeable! Giuseppe, our bus driver, provided a smooth, punctual, and safe ride! Thank you both! Chiara, our local guide in Siena, was also very knowledgeable and engaging in explaining the interesting history of Siena's neighborhoods and the traditional horse races. Our family felt this tour was well organized, and we enjoyed our lunch at the organic Chianti farm where we got to have plentiful wines of 4 varieties :) The views of the rolling hills in the Tuscan countryside were unforgettable! The sun was also on our side this day! We're so glad our tour included admission to the amazing Cathedral in Siena! This architectural and artistic wonder was probably my favorite cathedral in Italy (Rome, Florence) so far! With its black/white-striped columns and mesmerizing blue celestial ceilings, this cathedral is not to miss! I wish we had about 30 more minutes each in Siena and San Gimagnino, though! We made it to Pisa in time to appreciate this architectural masterpiece before the sun set. With an itinerary this packed, it's expected you will feel a little rushed to be punctual. This was truly a tour provided in English, not surprisingly bilingual like some of the other tours, so communication and timing were both efficient! What an amazing and easy way to experience the best of Tuscany as an unforgettable teaser!

This was a wonderful day trip from Florence. It rally allowed us to capture the true countryside experience with a wonderful lunch at a beautiful Tuscan farm. We also stepped back in time in the breathtaking medieval cities of Siena, Giginano, and Pisa where we climbed to the top of the Tower of Pisa! Our guide Mano was very charming, and offered us so much information along the way before each stop. It is a must-do in my book!

Our guide Alessandro was magnificent! It was like traveling with a history teacher. We gained so much information on Florence and Siena, as well as other regions in Italy, not to mention the cities we toured today. Our bus driver was exceptional. The lunch at the farmhouse was lovely. We highly recommend this tour! Gracie Mille Alessandro!!! Buena Pasqua!

What a wonderful day trip. Merella was a great, compassionate and informative guide. Wear comfortable shoes as we walked about 8 miles, including the Pisa climb if it purchased it. High recommend this one.

It was nice but too much walking, specially the pick up and drop off points, very far, a lot of walking to and from the bus. The places visited were very nice and of course we expected to walk around the towns.
