This has become our favourite hotel when travelling between Ontario and Nova Scotia for the last few years. We have always found it to be a nice, clean hotel where pets are allowed. The breakfasts are your standard fare... but well put together. A nice touch is the separate toaster for gluten-free bread. When we first started staying here (about 4 years ago), they had really cool decor upstairs in the common area; that has changed. What used to be unique furniture has been replaced with 4 wing chairs. It doesn't change anything about our stay... but it provided a really cool vibe. It would be good to get that back. This last stay, however, there were some glitches. The floor lamp in our room didn't work, and they did not have a replacement bulb. The fridge in the room could have been colder, and the TV was very glitchy, as if the signal kept getting cut. We had to switch to watching Prime. Not sure if there's new ownership or what. This was the first time there had been any issues whatsoever. We would give the hotel another try, as this was the first time there were any issues at all. Breakfast was still great. IN ADDITION: Through Expedia there was communication and we received an e-mail from the hotel apologizing for the "glitches".

We did their tour of Tuscany and wine tasting tour while staying in Florence. Beyond amazing. The tour stopped in Siena, San Gimagnano, Pisa, and a winery for tasting. Our guide Mano (nickname) was the absolute best. Funny, energetic, and taught us so much about all the places we visited. Very well organized. Kept everything on time so we had plenty of time to see all of the amazing places we visited but never once felt rushed. Perfect day. We will definitely do another tour with them. And hopefully lucky enough to get Mano as our guide again. I hope you pay him well, we can't say enough great things about him!

The trip was extremely well dictated and our guide went over a lot of the history of each place. I couldn't have dreamed of a better day

I hate to give this tour only 3 stars because it is mainly our fault that we booked a tour on a bus. We thought it was a small group tour however it turned into a bus of almost 60 people. The guide Alessandro was fine if a little fast talking. Siena was beautiful and of course we needed more time. Our guide there was phenomenal. Back on the bus for lunch which was really really lovely and the off to SanG. Not the most historic or interesting place but… off to a quick dash before sunset to Pisa. I had been there before so no expectations. An hour was too long but a few in our party booked to climb to the top so we explored the city a little. I think a tour of ten to fifteen with visits to Siena and lunch then off to Pisa or Assisi or any other might have been better. We always google small group tours so next time I will have to look closer. Walk about Tours we have been a part of before and after and have always enjoyed the experience.

What a great trip, made 100% more fun because of our tour guide Manny, he was fun, and most of all informative. Also a shout out to our bus driver Domenico, he maneuvered that bus like an artist
