What To Expect
Florence
We will meet at the "P" parking sign in "Piazza della Calza" by Porta Romana, near "San Giovanni Battista della Calza" at 9:45am, ready for a 10:00am start. This tour is perfect for those on holiday who wish to sleep in a bit longer in the morning but still want to enjoy a full day exploring the beauty of Tuscany. Upon arrival, you'll meet your expert guide, easily recognizable by their purple T-shirt. After brief introductions, your guide will whisk you away to the first stop of the day: a charming winery in the heart of the Chianti region. The drive to the winery will take about an hour, during which your guide will outline the day's itinerary and share fascinating insights about Tuscany’s history, culture, and landscapes. As you relax and take in the scenic drive enjoy the rolling hills, dotted with vineyards and olive groves. Your guide's engaging stories and knowledge will enhance your appreciation of the region, making the drive both informative and enjoyable.

5.00One of my favorite experiences in Tuscany! It's also a great hot weather activity. It was 95F the day I did the tour, but the van had great AC. The first vineyard has a fantastic view -- you're outside, but in the shade and it's earlier in the day. The second vineyard is inside with great AC. All the hosts were welcoming, helpful, and generous with the wine. Couldn't recommend more (esp as a solo traveler).

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Two people cancelled so it made it extra special for us as we were the only ones at the tasting. Our guide/driver, Nedas, was such a nice guy and we enjoyed riding with him and learning about the area. We also had a great experience with our wine expert, Matteo, at Tenuta Torciano Winery.

5.00My husband, adult daughter, and I loved this tour. Our guide, Valentina, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. She was ready to cater to all of our needs and gave us wonderfully detailed information about the region, its history, the vineyards we visited, and San Gimignano. The tasting experiences at both wineries were excellent. And San Gimignano was fascinating and scenic.
