Lorenzo was great, informative, friendly and funny, the two winery’s were great, both different atmospheres and things to offer!

  • 2 wineries, San Gimignano and probably the best view I've had a glass of wine to.

This tour is great! it starts later than most other tours so this is one where you can sleep in, and still enjoy the Tuscan hills. The two wineries were solid and the views were amazing from the second one. We mainly booked this tour because it was the only half day tour we could find that visited San Gimignano. Giovanni was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area so you'll get to learn a lot from him.

What a delight. Thank you, Ned, for your hospitality and excellent guidance. Not only 2 wineries with expert leaders but a visit to San Gimignano (sp?) which no words can describe. So beautiful. Spend your shopping money there, not in Florence!

Really great tour, great couple of wineries. I’d say it was an efficient way to get the winery experience, not rushed but not hanging around for that long, with the added benefit of seeing the medieval city at the end. Checks all the boxes, great tour guides as well in our experience

This tour left a lot to be desired. The participants were packed into the minivan like sardines. I was in the very back and could not hear any of the info the tour leader gave us on the rides throughout the day. The wineries were nice and there was plenty of alcohol given but the scheduling of the tour was really bad given that it did not include lunch and the 2 winery stops made up the first 4-5 hours of the tour. We drank a lot from morning until afternoon but were not given an opportunity to get any food of substance until the very last hour and a half of the trip in San Gimignano. The ride back to Florence was windy and uncomfortable and made me extremely car sick. This is my first bad experience booking with Viator and I would not book this tour again. Lastly, I paid a good amount for the tour which looks like it was less than half of the what I paid per person closer to the date of the tour. Very disappointing.

This was a fantastic way to venture out into Tuscany. Sampling the local flavors at the vineyards was amazing and this company did such a great job organizing the whole excursion. Our guide, Ned, was so friendly and did a great job showing us around. Highly recommend!!!

  • Spectacular wineries, food and tour guides

We visited 2 wineries and they both had wonderful wines . At the first winery, we received a brief lesson on how to properly taste wine. It was followed by appetizers with the wineries olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The views from both wineries were absolutely stunning!! We ended up buying 2 cases of wine, which they will ship to our house. Our tour guide, Valentina, was very knowledgeable; on the drive to our destination, she talked about the history of the region and information on the wineries. And the visit into San Gimignano was fun, had some gelato and visited the “Torture” museums. I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to go to a couple smaller wineries in the Tuscany countryside and visit San Gimignano.
