What To Expect
Florence
We will meet at the "P" parking sign in "Piazza della Calza" by Porta Romana, near "San Giovanni Battista della Calza" at 9:45am, ready for a 10:00am start. This tour is perfect for those on holiday who wish to sleep in a bit longer in the morning but still want to enjoy a full day exploring the beauty of Tuscany. Upon arrival, you'll meet your expert guide, easily recognizable by their purple T-shirt. After brief introductions, your guide will whisk you away to the first stop of the day: a charming winery in the heart of the Chianti region. The drive to the winery will take about an hour, during which your guide will outline the day's itinerary and share fascinating insights about Tuscany’s history, culture, and landscapes. As you relax and take in the scenic drive enjoy the rolling hills, dotted with vineyards and olive groves. Your guide's engaging stories and knowledge will enhance your appreciation of the region, making the drive both informative and enjoyable.

5.00This tour is great! it starts later than most other tours so this is one where you can sleep in, and still enjoy the Tuscan hills. The two wineries were solid and the views were amazing from the second one. We mainly booked this tour because it was the only half day tour we could find that visited San Gimignano. Giovanni was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area so you'll get to learn a lot from him.
