The entire Everglades area, including Everglades National Park, is a wonderful place for to view dolphins. With over 300 species of birds throughout the year, it is the only Park that was established for its biological and ecological considerations rather than its geological features. However, most of the 1.5 million acres in the Park are flooded and essentially out of reach for the average visitor. Everglades Area Tours can you take you to areas seldom reached by others. In comfortable captain's style seating, you will be safely brought deep into Everglades National Park's 10,000 Islands for an interpretive tour with your naturalist guide. Depending on the season, you can expect to encounter manatees, dolphins, sea turtles, bald eagles, ospreys, herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, as well as, numerous species of fish and shore birds. Not only will you be introduced to the wonderful birding and wildlife in the area, you will also learn about the Everglades ecosystems, it rich heritage and long history. Great way to spend a few hours, exploring the mangroves and catching sight of the wildlife. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Recommend this trip as it’s a few hours well spent.

Super experienced captain, we received a lot of knowledge about the nature in Everglades. The nature and animals were very well respected. Also small group and nice boat.

I had turned wrong and got to the dock 40 Min. Late the women I talked to said it was ok we were the only ones who had signed up for the trip. Then I tried to call again to update my eta and could not get through because of the interruption to cell service that day. The boat left just as we pulled into the parking area. We don’t get to go even though she said it was ok when we talked to her.

Our trip went well after there was a change of meeting place - however we also were able to change the day easily to suit our needs. The captain arrived early which also suited us. It was an open top boat without shade which we knew in advance so could prepare. There were toilets at th meeting point - but these were closed when we came back 2 hours later - so we went to the local hotel nearby. Understood there was not much chance to see a manatee and hoped to see dolphins - which we did just before the end of the trip. our captain was sociable & knew a lot about the flora and fauna from the area. Our girls enjoyed collecting shells from the beach on the island where we spent a fair amount of the time.

Jerry was a local, knowledgeable and expert guide. He travelled far to find the dolphins & manatees. The weather was cooler than usual. Although we saw no dolphins or manatees, we saw over 2 dozen white pelicans, meant kingfishers, oyster catchers and other tropical birds. A very fun time on the water!

Gerry was a fantastic guide with an excellent sense of humour and local knowledge of the glades, seasons and wildlife. We saw lots we wanted to see and were even joined by a small pod of dolphins that played and chased our boat. Highly recommended. Thank you.

He has amazing knowledge to share about the Everglades, the birds, and history or the sea shells. He communicated with us what, where, and how he was going to take us to places.

We had a great time. It was a beautiful day, the boat was comfortable, and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We got close up to some nesting birds and while we enjoyed watching the birds our guide gave us all kinds of great information about the birds, their babies, and the island they were on. We continued our tour that took us to different island and we learned more about the native tribes that lived there, about a verity of species that live in the area and we got to see dolphins jumping out of the water near our boat.
