Low Key Watersports has been in business over 30 years and is St. John's only PADI 5 Star Dive Center. Our sister company Ocean Runner Powerboat Rentals is the largest fleet in St. John and together we are your one stop shop for watersports during your stay!

What To Expect

Join us for our daily two-tank dive on one of our local reef sites along the outlying islands and north and south shores of St. John! Most of our sites are 30 to 80 feet in depth offering an ideal environment for leisurely exploration for both beginners and experienced divers alike. All dives are led by a divemaster and include all of your gear.

Two fantastic dives. The Crew was friendly, experienced, and very helpful. The dive boat was comfortable with excellent access into and out of the water. The dive gear worked well and fit perfectly. The water was warm and inviting. The reefs were beautiful and the dive was extremely fun. Great job Crew!

Always amazing at Low Key! From the dive staff… serenity, Andre, Lillian, and captain Buz to the staff in the shop! Top notch, safe, fun dives -every time. We also dive her with our children — Andre took our family photos, which turned out great!

I've been diving with these guys for over 2 years now, at least 20 dives. Always, professional, knowledgeable, & fun. Over those years, I think I've dove with all of the dive masters. My skills have improved because of their helpful instruction. They also have quality equipment. I only need the BCD now, but over the years I also gotten fins & masks a few times.

My husband and I did a night dive and a morning 2-dive package with Low Key in mid-January. Everyone that worked with us, from the boat driver to the dive instructors, was friendly, competent, and committed to making sure we had a great experience. The boat and equipment are all in fantastic shape. I appreciated that the sites for the dives were chosen the morning of, as we had great weather for our morning dives and were able to go to an excellent spot that they don't usually use. It was neat diving while sharks swam with us! I would absolutely use Low Key again for diving!

Top rate this dive organization. 3days of diving was not really enough. Andre, Serenity and Aqua are the A team. Awesome that we got to dive with them all. The team knows the sites and knows the fish. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Low Key took my daughter, her boyfriend, and me on an afternoon two tank dive. My daughter and I, while both experienced divers, hadn't dove for over five years, so we needed a refresher, while her boyfriend was diving for the first time on a discover scuba course. The staff at Low Key did an exception job of tailoring our trip to our respective levels of skill and experience while ensuring we all shared in the highlights of the dive sites. We all agreed it was a great experience.

My family (some divers, some snorkle) had a great time on our morning two tank trip. The dive sites off of greater st James were spectacular and the crew were excellent. Our dive master had great trips on ear clearing and keeping the goggles clear and other items. I’ve done dozens of carribean dive trips and this one was near the top.

This was my first dive after getting certified. I was more than nervous. The dive instructor was amazing and reassuring. I completed the dive and was so happy with the whole experience. It was gorgeous and I felt so comfortable. Can’t wait to be back and dive again with Low Key!

We dove with LowKey in October 2023 for three trips—two afternoon and one morning. The crew is amazing, and knowledgeable of the local waters. Andre was our captain all three dives, and Josh, Aly and Serenity were our guides. They are all great. If you dive St John’s, you won’t be disappointed with LowKey.

3 people in our group went out 3 times with Low Key, for a total of 6 dives each. The staff was friendly and technically good, and although we had different levels of confidence we all felt at home. The equipment was good and we felt safe.
