What To Expect
Tegenungan Waterfall
The waterfall is surrounded by green tropical jungles. You can go down to the water or just see the beautiful views and take great photos from the hill.
Tirta Empul Temple
Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. In the Temple you can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing.

Incredible trip out with Bagus

5.00Had an amazing time with Bagus as our tour guide!! He reached out before the trip to guide me on the pick up time on the actual day of the trip, before taking the extra effort to make sure everything went smoothly on the day itself, from introducing the culture and history of the Balinese people to us to driving us from point to point despite the pouring rain. He demonstrated his wealth of knowledge regarding the Balinese religion at the Holy water temple, and was patient with us as he allowed us enough time to explore the other attractions. Although my friend was sick and requested to see a pharmacy, Bagus went the extra mile to drive to a supermarket to allow us to get breakfast and additionally made a detour to the pharmacy to allow my friend to get medicine for himself! Towards the end despite feeling a little under the weather, Bagus dropped us off at a shopping complex to allow us to shop and sent us back safe and sound!! Excellent service that I would never have expected anywhere else, would definitely recommend!!
Amazing Day Trip to Ubud

5.00We were picked up by Wayan (our private driver) from our Seminyak villa at 6.40pam and he took us towards Ubud, starting with a visit to a coffee plantation/cafe, and provided us with a demonstration on making coffee/cocoa etc. we were invited to taste 13 different versions of coffee/tea produced by them. We picked up some coffee/tea supplies to take back home. Next stop was a visit to the monkey sanctuary which was incredible and you were able to walk around the sanctuary and view the amazing forest, architecture and of course the monkeys. The monkeys were very relaxed with people being around them and didn’t have any issues with them attacking us/agggressive behaviour etc. Next stop was to the famous jungle swing, which was an experience, dressing up into appropriate attire and enjoying 5 different swings. Next stop was a visit to a local water temple which was incredibly moving. Unfortunately, as we didn’t bring any swimwear, we were unable to experience the body cleanse. Next stop was a visit to a local waterfall, it was about 100m down to the waterfall and again, had we brought our swimwear, we could have swim up to the waterfall. We could have headed off to do zip-lining, but at this stage, it had been a long day so far and didn’t feel like it. Next stop was lunch at a restaurant in Ubud looking out to rice fields, enjoying a wonderful meal of babek (duck) goreng, nasi goreng and a couple of Bintang’s. We then headed back to our villa and arrived home around 3.30pm. We can’t thank Wayan enough for his driving expertise (it’s pretty wild out there on the roads), his willingness to educate us about Balinese culture and way of life and always guiding us to each of today’s activities and being there at the completion of them to take us to the next one. Nothing was too much to ask and he wasn’t pushy and listened to our need/wants, particularly towards the end of the day when he’d had enough and wanted to go home. We have been here in Bali for 5 days (this is also our third visit to Bali) and across all visits, today’s trip to Ubud is easily the highlight.
