What To Expect
Tegenungan Waterfall
The waterfall is surrounded by green tropical jungles. You can go down to the water or just see the beautiful views and take great photos from the hill.
Tirta Empul Temple
Tirta Empul means Holy Spring in Balinese. The temple compound consists of a petirtaan or bathing structure, famous for its holy spring water, where Balinese Hindus go to for ritual purification. The temple pond has a spring which gives out fresh water regularly, which Balinese Hindus consider to be holy or amritha. In the Temple you can see how Balinese people doing a holy blessing.

5.00Yesterday we spent a long, wonderful day with Vitho, another terrific Viator guide. We were picked up at our hotel and driven in his clean car to the Monkey Forest where we walked around watching the adorable primates frolicking. Next the swings where my travel mate had the time of her life. We also were taken to the waterfalls, a coffee plantation where we were given a detailed explanation about the various flavors and beans culminating in a flavorful taste testing. We finished up at a beautiful water temple. Along the way, this patient guide allowed us to stop for a quick lunch and some shopping stops to help the economy of Ubud. It was a most wonderful day. Thank you Vitho.
