A lot of the focus of Chinatown tends to be in the historically Cantonese area. In this tour you will experience the entirety of Chinatown. We'll head east to the less-touristy, more Fujianese area, which was once considered part of the Lower East Side. We'll make our way through the backstreets before arriving at the more well-known Cantonese area. Finally, we'll brush past Little Italy to the western edge of Chinatown and eat a delicious desert.
We can accommodate vegetarians, but please reach out directly with other food allergies. We'll do our best to accommodate all dietary preferences.

Chinatown
With the most stops of any Chinatown food tours, we’ll visit FIVE of Chinatown's best restaurants and eat dumplings, pork buns, tea cakes, and noodles. While you eat, I will let you know the history of the dishes and the history of the neighborhood. All of the places we will go are known for one item, so I will order while you eat! Other things to note: Bring warm clothes, a mask, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, a good mood and a large appetite!
Little Italy
Little Italy is a neighborhood in Lower Manhattan in New York City, known for its large Italian population. It is bounded on the west by Tribeca and Soho, on the south by Chinatown, on the east by the Bowery and Lower East Side, and on the north by Nolita

Traveling on a mother/daughter trip to New York’s China Town in Manhattan. We had a great time with Lance, as our guide on our tour of China Town. The 5 food stops we encountered were all different & overall a great variety of culinary delights! We learned a few tidbits of history along the way as well! We would definitely recommend this tour if you are wanting to experience China Town for history & food.

Incredible experience, great food, generous portions. Highly recommend! Katie was awesome and kept us engaged and fed despite the cold. The places were locations I would have NEVER visited on my own and having an experienced guide curate the tour was fantastic. The tour was my husband’s favorite part of our trip.

I'm a New Yorker who didn't want to do something super touristy, and this tour delivered. Our group of five went to a number of spots that I probably would not have ventured into on my own, so it was great to discover some new gems, all while gaining a deeper understanding of the neighborhood history. Our knowledgeable and entertaining guide met everyone's dietary needs and preferences. And the food was delicious. We were all full by the end of it.

Lance was a lot of fun. My entire family enjoyed being with him and he provided useful knowledge. As a family we have shared a lot of what Lance shared about and on our tour. Not only would I recommend him, my family and I would use him on our next trip to New York.

The tour was super interesting and the guide was very informative and lovely. It was very gritty and felt like we were in the bowels of Chinatown. I loved learning about the tenements. Food was reasonably good.

We went on the ultimate Chinatown food tour with Megan. She was a great tour guide giving us a history lesson and sharing all the tips on navigating Chinatown. It was great to visit places outside of the more well visited areas of Chinatown. Would highly recommend this tour!

Lara was such a fun tour guide. Her knowledge of Chinatown was great. We learned a lot about the area and how it changed over the years. The food choices were perfect. We definitely went off the beaten path with the restaurant choices. The amount of food and the length of the tour was perfect. We would highly recommend the tour and Lara.
