Colosseum
Colosseum The Colosseum, also known as the Flavio Amphitheater, is a magnificent oval architecture in the center of Rome, built with travertine, tuff and brick-faced concrete. It is the largest construction ever built in ancient Rome. It is located east of the Roman Forum. Emperor Vespasian began construction in 72 AD and was completed in 80 AD by his successor Titus.
Roman Forum
Roman Forum The Roman Forum, also known as Forum Romanum, is a square surrounded by the ruins of several important buildings of the former government of Rome in the city center. Originally a market, the citizens of the ancient city referred to this place as the Magnum Forum. Immerse yourself in ancient culture to learn the way of life that Rome’s predecessors lived.

Tour location was ralatively easy to find using maps. Set up team was very relaxed and accommodating. Tour guide, Barbara. was very knowledgable and thorough. Easy to understand (although headphones made it hard sometimes). We ran a little long however we could’ve spent even more time.

We had a tremendous tour of the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. Our tour guide Alec was very knowledgeable and helped answer any questions.

Definitely book a small group tour. This is really the only way to easily see the Colosseum. You bypass the lines and large crowds. The tour guides really know their stuff, and it shows by the amount of knowledge they share with you. Enjoy your tour!

I had the wonderful experience of visiting the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum with a small group of 14 members with IRENE. I would totally recommend it. She is lively and jolly. I was with my wife and an infant in a stroller. She made sure we were comfortable and waited for us as we were with the strollers through the stairs.

Our tour guide Ivano was fantastic and made the tour! You could tell how passionate he was about the history of the Colosseum! Great talker with a sense of humor.

Our tour began promptly and professionally exactly where we were instructed to meet. Our guide Te Te is an actual professor of art history and has a passion for the Coliseum. She was engaging our teenagers and made our experience just perfect. We would highly recommend this tour.

We were disappointed in the tour. It felt rushed and the guide didn’t provide much information. We didn’t even get to the bottom of the colosseum. Also we thought Roman Forum was included in the tour, but there was no tour. Yes the entrance fee was included, but the guide didn’t walk us through the Roman Forum.

I am sorry to say that our tour left much to be desired. Our guide was an older gentleman and while he was very knowledgeable, he was not very engaging, especially since there were several teenagers in the group. Given that we booked a small group tour and paid extra, it was disappointing to see other guides engaging their groups with pictures and stories of the forum and Colloseum. We consider ourselves lucky to have visited these amazing spots, but not in the tour we got :(
