Don’t stuck your Beijing layover inside the airport; make the best use of your travel time in China and tailor-made a flexible sightseeing tour instead. This private layover tour is customized to your needs and allows you to see the Mutianyu Great Wall, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square if time permit based on your layover time. Hotel/Airport pick-up and drop-off services are included.

Note: Making such trips possible,your layover time has to be at least 13 hours or longer (between two flights); alternative plan of visit at Tiananmen Square, Jingshan park to let you get bird's eye view to the whole Forbidden City in case that the Forbidden City would be fully booked.

As Great Wall opens from 8am to 5pm and Forbidden City opens from 8:30am to 3:30pm, so please make sure your flight arrival time to Beijing is no later than 7am and the flight depart Beijing no earlier than 19:00.

A current valid passport is required for security check at Tiananmen Square.

It require at least 12 more hours layover between the two flights to make this tour available.

You will be picked up from your hotel lobby(inside the fifth ring road, or pay a little more for a pick up outside this area) at your selected pick up time, or you will be picked up from airport(outside luggage picking area) if you would come with a layover.

What To Expect

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

You will be picked up from your hotel/PEK airport, then drive to the city center to visit Tiananmen Square which is the largest public square in the world. Standing in the middle of the square with taking a 360 panoramic photo to have all the major buildings into your great photo. This is the best certificate for this trip. You will walk around and visit the Tiananmen Square for 30-40 mins.

Tour guide will make a brief introduction about the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall from outside.

Definitely was a great experience for a layover tour in Beijing. Tony was a great guide and photographer . I learned about Chinese history and culture. We went to the Great Wall and Summer Palace. 100% recommended.

Completely met my expectations. The tour guide was very friendly, helpful and told us a lot about the history of the Great Wall and the Forbidden City. We were brought back to the airport on time.

What I was looking for with a 12 hour stopover in Beijing. I contacted Tony from Italy and we arranged for him to pick us up with the van at the airport to take us to the wall (about 1h30 away). Tony went up with us and explained some things about the history of the wall and gave us some free moments to take some great photos. After the wall he took us on a quick tour of central Beijing, stopping first at the Olympic stadium and then at Tiananmen Square. The van was comfortable and spacious, he gave us free water and on the way he told us something about Beijing and taught us some Chinese terms. At the end of the tour he took us to the airport on time. Experience recommended for a "short" stopover of 10/15 hours.

We had an absolutely amazing time during our layover tour in Beijing! Our guide Shane took us to the Great Wall, Jingshan Park and Tiananmen Square and provided us with lots of interesting information about everything‘s history, current situation etc. We had a really fun day and can highly recommend booking this tour!!

I am amazed! Shane was so friendly and supportive! Waited for me directly where I got out of customs and had everything already ready for both of our destinations. He was so informative and could answer all my questions. I highly recommend if you have enough time use it in Beijing with Shane!

This was an amazing tour !!! Sherry was our tour guide and she was very helpful and took all our pictures and provided us with very interesting information and history. We were picked up from the airport and taken to the Great Wall on a private van and then we headed to the forbidden city. Once we were done with our tour we were dropped off at the airport right on time for our flight. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone that is visiting for the first time.
