What is the DMZ – an exciting experience like no other
While the Cold War happened a long time ago, Korea is the only country that still remains divided as a consequence. The DMZ lies on the border between the North and the South. This is the most heavily fortified border in the whole world, so don’t miss the chance to see it!
OPTIONAL : Gondonla
Gondola tour is one of our most popular DMZ tours and can also be an excellent alternative to our DMZ Tour when political or military events restrict access to some of the stops on those tours.
OPTIONAL : Red Suspension Bridge
The Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Korea at 220m long and 1.5m wide. It can hold up to 900 adults and is constructed to withstand 30 meters per second winds and earthquakes of up to 7 magnitude. Its stunning scenic views make it the perfect spot to capture beautiful photos, and it is always well-received.

We offer three convenient meeting points in downtown Seoul. These are Myeongdong Subway Station (Exit 9), Seoul City Hall Subway Station (Exit 6), and Hongdae Subway Station (Exit 3). Here you can meet your lovely tour guide and our comfortable DMZ tour bus. Please aim to arrive around 10-15 minutes early, in case of any delays, and to ensure you find your way to the meeting point on time.
DMZ
Dive into the Korean Demilitarized Zone, a 4 km-wide strip splitting North and South since 1953. Hear the eerie quiet as gravel crunches underfoot. See barbed wire gleam and feel the Cold War’s lingering tension. Your guide shares tales of defectors and secret tunnels, sending chills down your spine. Peer through binoculars at North Korea’s propaganda villages, their mystery gripping you. This DMZ tour from Seoul blends history and intrigue, offering a front-row seat to a divided world. It’s an unforgettable journey into Korea’s heart.

Alex our guide ran a very slick tour. Expectations were made clear. So all people were punctual. He moved us promptly through each part of the tour. His prepared presentations and information was excellent and relevant. It was raining so he spoke to us on the bus, rather than out in the rain and we could then view at our leisure. He shared personal experiences around family history. Alex was friendly and approachable with a sense of humor. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Did the best DMZ tour with Lina. Even though circumstances made us leave extra early in order to enter the DMZ, we had a good time and Lina is organized and informative. This is not a tour for anyone with mobility issues. The 3rd tunnel and the suspension bridge require stair and hill climbing at an 11 degree gradient.

A great experience. Our guide, sensational, explained everything super clear. Before I got to each place, I would put up a video explaining what had happened there and, maybe, that the explanations in each place had more context.

It's been an amazing experience. The guide (신동철 /José) told us the whole story about Korea in an entertaining way. It was really attentive and nice. If I went back to Korea, I would definitely repeat. A highly recommended option, to learn about history and feel inside it.
