  My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the ancient city/ Roman forum with Russ! His energetic passion for Roman history kept us interested and entertained. The time flew and we learned so much! Russ went out of his way to visit with each of us on the tour while making our way to stopping points and he personalized his information based on our interests. We never felt like we were just another tour. He is easy to understand, extremely knowledgeable, and a very personable, energetic tour guide. I highly recommend him to anyone going to Rome!!

  We had a great time on the tour through the city . The guide were informative , and showed us some great sights throughout Rome . We especially appreciated the facts they told us about each of the stops on the tour .

  Colin is the big book of knowledge for Rome 😁 his delivery is excellent. He goes beyond normal history and makes stories and you understand the impact on today's world. He takes the time to speak to people individually on the tour. He is open to questions. He is very passionate and knowledgeable! Highly recommended!! Thank you Colin!

  I loved the tour i had today with Russ. It‘s definitely the best one i had here in Rome. He was so energetic and tireless. I loved his energy and his passion about his work! I actually learned a lot of interesting things with him. 10/10 would recommend to join his tour if you’re in Rome!!

  This was my first time leaving the United States to explore another country. I wasn’t sure what to expect on this journey, but I can say Colin made everything worth while! He went above and beyond to make sure everyone in my group was satisfied. You can tell he is very dedicated in what he is doing. It’s almost like he is exploring the cities for the first time with you! It’s overall an amazing atmosphere to be around. He’s a person everyone wants to be around. I was never disappointed on the trip. Except for the hot weather!

  My best friend and I did a 3 week trip around all of Europe but can say by far our best experience was touring the ancient city with Rome with Russ! Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable but also very clever; he kept us on our toes and laughing while educating us. I'd been to Rome prior and seen a lot of the ancient monuments but came out of the tour with more than double the knowledge I'd had previously. I highly recommend using Rome with Russ for your tour needs!

  I came to Rome with my Mother and Youngest brother (15) and although my mother had been before and my brother is a bit of a history buff, we all came away having learned something new thanks to Russ. His delivery and general mannerisms throughout the tour transformed our visit from looking at rocks and broken buildings to understanding the architecture and history that surrounds the ruins of the Ancient City! I have suggested Russ to a number of friends in recent months, all of whom have returned with gleaming reviews of his tours! He definitely made our trip that little bit better!
