small groups make every seat a front row seat as you enjoy whale watching and educational talks from our marine naturalist onboard.

Our inflatable rafting vessels are modeled after Coast Guard rescue rafts and are safe, extremely agile providing the best platform to experience whales and have a fun ride. Our vessel allows you to be close to the ocean surface. Giving you the feeling of being with the whales in there natural environment. From this vantage point photography captures a unique perspective of looking up at the animals when they breach the surface. Our Captains are trained to find the most surface active, diverse behaviors and best photo scenarios.

All trips from December – April are guaranteed to see whales or you go again for FREE!

We are locally owned and operated since 1982 and every ticket supports our participation in marine research projects and our role as certified first responders to whale entanglements.

Our small group Whale Watching tour is our most popular whale watching tour on Maui. Our fast and safe rafting vessels are low to the water and perfect for close encounters and small groups making every seat a front row seat! Listen to whale songs on our hydrophone and don’t forget your camera for epic photos of our humpback whale friends! There are two options 1.5 hour and 2 gour, please select the tour you are wanting.

What an wonderful day with Captain Jill! She knew where the whales were and we got some amazing pictures! We would go again anytime we were there during season and would highly recommend the trip! Lahaina is coming back

What an awesome experience! We were fortunate and saw many whales but the best part was when a mama and baby as well as their escort came right up to our boat and circled it- curious like. The closest I have ever been to a whale in my life. Great guides and great weather and beautiful whales- so glad we went!

Amazing service. Everyone was very helpful and loved their jobs and these animals. I wasn’t sure if we would make it out since it was raining in the morning, but we did! Thankfully it stopped raining right before the tour started. We saw amazing whales thanks to the team. They even hurried to another whale that was playing in the water. It was amazing!

If you are looking for an intimate experience with great information, this is it. The crew was great and the whales were fantastic. Bonus, there was shade on the boat so we didn't have to sit in the sun for two and half hours.

Out of all the things we did on the island, the Whale Watching tour was probably number one! Lauren and Jill were so informative and full of comedic relief. It was perfect because there was only about 20 people on the boat and everyone got to see the whales. I would recommend this place over and over and over again to everyone I could!

The whole experience was great. The captain and the guide were very knowledgeable and kept the whole boat entertained. While it was windy and the water choppy (we were told it would be ahead of time) the captain did a fantastic job of getting us close enough without making the ride uncomfortable. Over all a great experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great tour.

AWESOME experience. We will be doing this tour again and recommending this tour to everyone that visits during whale season. As someone who gets motion sick, I was very nervous how this would go, but I took Dramamine beforehand and had no troubles. The crew is able to “chase” the whales and get you a front row seat to every viewing. We saw a few diving pairs, moms and babies, babies showing off (breach, tail flip, chin slap, pectoral fin slap, spouting, barrel roll) and even a few whales that broke the “100 ft rule”. This was an incredible experience with crew members Lauren and Derek.
