Travel in the comfort of your coach around the base of Uluru with your Driver Guide who will provide details on its incredible history. You’ll be fascinated by the Aboriginal stories that go back many thousands of years. Learn the significance of ancient Aboriginal rock art, about the area’s flora and fauna, and culture of its traditional owners, the Anangu. Your day concludes with a spectacular sunset at Uluru.
OPTIONAL BBQ DINNER
The BBQ site is within the Uluru National Park set amongst red sand dunes and desert oak trees providing a peaceful desert setting. You will enjoy a variety of Australian meats and salads, accompanied by wine, beer or orange juice (menus are subject to change). After dinner, tea, coffee and dessert will be served. Your guide will conduct a tour of the night sky, describing and pointing out some of the visible constellations with the assistance of a high beam spotlight (weather permitting).

3.00If you can, book the walk along the entire rock or so it yourself with the Audioguide. This tour was very basic and not worth the time and price. The sunset was great but Yiu can also get there on your own as everyone goes to the same place.

3.00The tour was ok but I was expecting a trail walk around the base of Uluru. This was advertised as "walk along the base of Ayers Rock" but it was just a walk to a water hole and a ride on the coach along the perimeter. I feel like they need to be a little more specific. The Uluru sunset view and champagne and snacks was great but was left wanting to walk along the trail around it.
