Yuka is a delightful guide and very informative about Osaka’s history and food. So many eating places in Osaka, but Yuka took us to the best spots. From trying our first fruit sandwich for breakfast, to tasting different cuts of tuna (and eating the biggest, most creamy raw oyster I’ve ever had!) And so much more, before finishing with the magic matcha master - a pure joy to meet. Great fun also being shown food items to look out for when shopping. Yuka, thankyou for a great day.

A charming food tour experience with Yuichi who is 100% local. His English was very good and he guided us to a range of generational food vendors whom he rated highly.

We really enjoyed this experience, Yuka was a lovely guide, she had some great insight and it was lovely to experience some of Osaka's famous dishes. It's great that all the food is included so it's all sorted out. 2 members of the party were late due to illness and Yuka went out of her way to make sure they didn't miss anything . Highly recommend.

Fantastic, Miyo was great and we learned information about Japan and the history of umami that we would not have learned otherwise.

Miyo was the best. She was clearly passionate about the food scene and Osaka and giving the tour members distincitively local cuisine. She grabbed a Rikuro's cheesecake for our group and suprrised us with it to start the tour, which set the tone for the rest of the 5 hours. It was so good that we ended up grabbing another Rikuro's on our last day of Osaka, a couple days later.

We had such a wonderful tour with Miyo! She was so kind and informative and truly made the tour so special. The food was delicious, it was very well-paced and there was plenty of it! We got to try all of the typical Osaka foods like Okonomiyaki and takoyaki, plus some extra special treats. Highly recommend this tour if you love food and want to learn more about the food culture in Japan.

Miyo was wonderful. Her knowledge and passion for Osaka and its food culture was incredible. Some of my favs were the Okonomiyaki (savory pancakes) and an Osaka cheesecake that was light and airy. She introduced us to foods we wouldn’t have tried otherwise. She took great care of us!

We had a delightful day from start to finish with Keiji. While the tour was focused on the food of Osaka, Keiji was able to go far beyond the scope of cuisine. He joined us in fascinating conversations about Japanese culture, explaining some of the differences between the people and the culture in Tokyo vs Osaka. We are a curious group of 4 with many questions & observations. Keiji was able to answer every one of them in an interesting way. Keiji’s english is impeccable making it very easy to communicate. He is warm hearted and lovely to be with. I highly recommend him as a guide.
