This tour has been specially crafted and perfected from 10+ years of Two Fat Blokes guest feedback.
Visit some of the Hunter Valleys best wineries to sample some delicious wines. We don’t stick to a formula and we’re constantly doing research. As long as we get great feedback from our guests, you might visit boutique, new, large, small, old, and/or unique wineries.
We want you to enjoy the best of the Hunter Valley, with unique wine encounters that are not available to your average walk-in wine-taster. We’re not about just taking you to a cheese or chocolate tasting, we think you deserve more. On top of cheese/chocolate and wine pairing exercises, we’ve worked with some of the Hunters best wineries to craft a range of mystery experiences especially for our guests. These are designed to build your wine knowledge while also getting you involved with the process and allowing you to learn what makes Hunter Valley wine unique.

5.00Excellent & informative day out in the Hunter Valley. We visited 4 x cellars and a cider house. One cellar included cheese pairing and another chocolate. Lunch box provided was tasty & plentiful. We travelled as a couple and had great fun with two other couples. Our driver Coop kept us entertained and look after all our needs. I would highly recommend this trip.

5.00We had a brilliant day out on this tour - 4 vineyard tastings, a trip to a cider house and an amazing lunch with a fabulous group and our brilliant guide. Definitely recommend doing this tour!

5.00Our driver kept us entertained throughout the day, and the wineries were beautiful with a great selection of wines. The cheese tasting was a delightful addition, and the lunch box was generous and satisfying. We were lucky to have a wonderful international group, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This tour offers excellent value for a full-day experience – highly recommended!

4.00This is the only tour that picked up from Newcastle on a week day in Jan Having said that the pick up fee was an extra $200. The tour packs a lot in so be careful not to fully drink all the offerings. Lunch was a selection of cold meats and bread etc. A hot meal would have been welcomed, even if only something basic like fish and chips. Its a long day so you might want to bring extra water with you.

5.00Two fat blokes never disappoints! My partner and I had a fun, light hearted and banter filled day! We tasted over 30 wines, saw beautiful vineyards, talked to the experienced staff, and left wanting more. Highly recommend for couples or friends - great day on the hunter <3

5.00We first did a tour with Two Fat Blokes around 5 years ago and decided on a re run this year. We booked the midweek package inc 2 nights accomodation at the Leisure Inn. The entire experience was excellent...the accomodation was good and well located. The tour was top notch and Lyndell our driver and mentor was superb. We tasted a variety of different wines, some with cheese, or chocolate accompaniments and also had very good picnic style lunch. Never rushed, always well looked after, we strongly recommend you give the Two Fat Blokes a go.

5.00We were driven by JJ who also hosted the second tasting. We had four vineyard stops and a fifth stop to taste cider or beer. Not sure it was necessary but the views were beautiful. Our group were friendly and we had great fun. You’ll learn enough about the Hunter Valley and the production of wine but it’s not a tour for the connoisseur
