Cruise five feet below the surface in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin with a live guide suggesting salient points of interest. Every passenger has their own seat and port hole but you are also free to roam around the cabin for other viewpoints.

We saw tons of fish throughout the excursion, and staff told us the names of the different ones we saw. This is the one to go on!

Semi-sub was cool, lots of room even for my 6’4” hubby. We had some murky water, went to 2 coves, they chummed the water and we got to see a variety of fish. The young man spoke to only a few of the fish we saw. I recommend a visuals similar to what you see at an aquarium (picture , name of fish, description etc) to help those that may not speak English or are hearing impaired. At about 15 minutes left of the 45 min tour we were asked up to the surface of the boat as we went to dock. That was cool.

It was fun to see the bottom of the Avalon harbors and then see all the fish swarm around the boat. My kids really enjoyed seeing all of the fish, kelp and ocean. We would do it again!

Back again to enjoy under the sea adventures. I love how the operators chum the fish & HUNDREDS of unique fish come out from the kelp… SPECTACULAR !

It was easy to find the office on the pier and was directed to the location of the submarine. The guides were very personable and knowledgeable. Made the trip through the waters very enjoyable. Seeing the forest of kelp and thousands of fish swimming around the sub's windows was a great experience, especially when there was context coming from the guides. Definitely would recommend to check out if you are interested in wanting to check out the ocean around Catalina Island (such as seeing bottom glass boat ride or submarine tour).

Our scheduled time was reserved for 11am and the boat never showed up. We were told at 1115 it got moved to 12pm, that boat never showed up either. Highly, highly recommend you do not utilize this company.
