The Underwater Sea Walk is one of the most unique activities in Mauritius. Even if you can't swim, you'll have the opportunity to walk at a depth of 2.5m - 3m underwater with the help of a helmet that allows you to breathe normally; you don't even have to get your head wet!
After this amazing experience, spend the rest of the day relaxing or swimming in up to 4 of the most beautiful beaches in Mauritius: Trou aux Biches, Mont Choisy, La Cuvette and Pereybere. Private transportation to and from your hotel and between beaches is included, so all you need to bring is a swimsuit and sun protection! Trou aux Biches and Pereybere have an amazing selection of authentic Mauritian street food, or you can grab lunch at one of the many cafes lining the Coastal Road next to the beaches.

What To Expect
**Please note that the time spent underwater is approximately 10-12 minutes.** Start your day with one of the most unique activities in Mauritius: an Underwater Sea Walk. You will be picked up in the morning in a private taxi, and taken to the northwest of the island, near Grand Baie. The Underwater Sea Walk is activity suitable for everyone, even non-swimmers! You are taken on a short boat ride offshore. As you begin to descend to the sea bed, you are equipped with a helmet that will enable you to breathe normally. You can discover the beautiful coral reefs and fish! The helmet keeps your head completely dry, so you can even wear glasses or contacts. Guides are there all along to make sure that you have fun in perfect safety. The time spent underwater is approximately 10-12 minutes. After this memorable experience, you'll have the chance to spend the rest of the day visiting beaches in the north, while being driven in a private taxi. Explore up to 4 of Mauritius' most beautiful beaches: La Cuvette, Trou aux Biches, Mont Choisy and Pereybere. At the end of the day the driver will drop you back at your hotel in time for dinner.

4.00The original location was moved from another part of the island to the West. The sea walk was rather short in comparison to the one I completed in the Dominican Republic but it was still fun with professional staff at hand. The pictures and video footage came out clear but you would need to pay extra for that service. I also did the paragliding which was fun but wouldn't recommend taking out the photo package as I didn't rate the quality of the images or the angles taken. A shout out and thank you to the taxi driver who took me here too!

The organizers are thieves — they cancel trips and don’t refund the money

1.00These guys are thieves. They cancel your dive and don’t even bother to inform you. You’ll have to make a real effort just to get in touch with the company and find out that your trip has been cancelled. And if you want a refund, you’ll have to go there in person. I don’t even know whether they actually refund people on the spot, but I paid by card, and on the day the trip was supposed to happen (but didn’t), I had to leave. So I couldn’t come back to pick up cash in person. They promised they would refund the money back to my card, since that’s how I paid, but nothing ever happened. It’s been more than two weeks and I still don’t have my money. And for the past week they haven’t even been replying to me. Think twice before you book with this agency — you may not get the service, and you may not get your money back either. I strongly do not recommend dealing with them; I can confidently call the organizers thieves. If needed, I can provide screenshots of our messages.

5.00The clear highlight of this excursion was the under sea walk which was an amazing experience! Clear instructions and travel in a speed boat through turquoise waters to the anchored boat from which the underwater experience took place. Excellent staff prepared us in terms of what to expect and were there on hand at all times throughout the walk on the sea bed. The actual experience was unforgettable and would highly recommend - don’t forget to feed the fish! Also you may wish to buy the photo package in advance which will include many pictures and a video. The beach visits before and after the sea walk were also very good.
