We have thought about everything from content, pace and company (only the best english speaking guides)
We will share the breath taking scenery and classic sites (waterfalls, black sandy beaches, gardens etc ) but be prepared for spontaneous stops to meet fishermen, dancers, surfers, farmers, school kids - the locals!

Taharuu Beach
Visit on of Tahitis most famous and beautiful black sandy beaches Watch the waves break on the beach and the locals live their daily lives, surfing, fishing chilling. When the cafe is open we will visit Marios place, have a drink and soak up the atmosphere

5.00Gana our guide was great! Friendly? Funny and very knowledgeable with history and culture of French Polynesia. High was seeing where the Olympic surf competition were held and a boat ride to view the waves. Highly recommend red Mercedes tours.

2.00I expected the tour would be a 4-hour "tour" of the west coast of Tahiti, so I was disappointed when the first stop turned out to be a half-hour lecture on the history of Tahiti. What made it worse, was that we were left standing in the hot sun for most of the stop. When the next stop - a short distance from the previous one - began as another lecture, with no interesting scenery to look at, I spoke to the tour guide and explained that I was expecting a tour of interesting, beautiful places along the coast, and I did not appreciate long lectures in the hot sun. After that, the tour guide changed her routine and we did see some great scenery for the rest of the tour.

5.00Our tour guy was terrific. It was his first day, but was very knowledgeable. The tour took us to sights we would not have found on our own. He spoke in both French and English…did great job going back and forth. The other people on the tour were very nice….

The owner, Tracey, was our guide and she is incredibly knowledgeable about the local culture, traditions, and the best places around the island. She was extremely attentive, kind, and professional, and made us feel welcome the entire time. Thanks to her, we experienced Tahiti in a very authentic way and truly enjoyed a wonderful day exploring the island. I highly recommend Unique Tahiti — 100% recommended!
