Step back in time to the 1940s, when Nazi Germany occupied Oslo. On this walking tour, we’ll stroll along the city’s main streets—but with a different perspective. The war left many marks on Oslo, though they are not always easy to spot. Along the way, we’ll also visit several locations featured in the film Number 24. Haven’t seen it yet? I recommend watching it before the tour for an even deeper experience.

5.00Christiania Roklub was established in Oslo (then Christiania) in 1878, and is Norway's second oldest and largest rock club. They had a single clubhouse at Oslo Beach, but got in 1925 one of the world's most beautiful rookie club houses, built on a slope in Frognerkilen in Oslo. Is today the leading rookie club in Norway, with about 100 boats and members of all ages. They have also established a training base with boat houses on the beautiful Bogstadvannet in Oslo. The club has participants in the Olympic Games, World Cup, European Championships and is also great at hiking and exercise rowing. Recommended d:o)

5.00Booked Months in advance and kept in touch with Rami during the process. I asked him to combine 2 of his tours together and it worked out great. He was on time, very informative, had plenty of interesting stories and pictures. Great time.

5.00What an amazing tour and an opportunity to learn how times were in Oslo during the occupation and see the main sites. Rami is a knowledgeable and passionate guide with a great eye for photography! You will feel like you are touring with a good friend. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00I wish all history was taught this way! Rami has the talent to recreate the past in the modern setting through detailed knowledge and humor. He has an incredible, authentic photo collection and the skill to replicate the exact shot! It creates a connection that makes history personal. It was so interesting to learn about Norway’s involvement in WWII from multiple viewpoints and the impacts actions had on different countries! He is so friendly and fun you can feel his passion! He suggested a beautiful walk back to our hotel and a few restaurants- dinner was delicious. Thank you Rami for a wonderful day and all the stories!

Rami was so knowledgeable about what life was like for everyday people- and resistance heroes- of Oslo, and had a treasure trove of historic photos of the places we visited. Rami shared so many fascinating stories, and it was a great counterpoint to our visit of the Resistance Museum at Akershus Fortress. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00We loved this tour! Rami has put together a really full 2.5-3 hour tour that includes lots of period photos and some of the most common tourist sites. He has made himself into an expert in the resistance, with unique insights and perspectives. He is a charming and colorful guide! We started off a bit slow due to my mistake. I would definitely reach out directly to Rami after I made the reservation to confirm the starting time and place. He was very responsive and accommodating and after starting late, he was very generous with his time. We enjoyed talking about recent films looking at this period and really heroic Norwegian resistance. We came away with new questions and increased curiosity about the time period. Highly recommendation this tour!
