Dress comfortably for some walking and climbing stairs (mild/moderate exertion). Our guide Pierre (also goes by Luigi) was personable, knowledgeable with many great stories about Frederico da Montefeltro and wives, family and retinue. He also related fascinating anecdotes from the history of the Palace and museum. We were surprised by how much there was to see - many beautiful paintings, wooden art works, ceramics and all manner of artifacts from the 500+ year history. I’ve always wanted to visit Urbino and my wife and I had a lovely time during our 3 hour or so visit.

A tour that uncovers the city and its historic characters, which until then were referred to as Raffaello Sanzio, The city grew and flourished through the explanations of our guide, and we were able to enjoy other details of the city and surroundings in the following days,
