This was an unexpected delight! Our tour guide Bruce Orr was so friendly and knowledgeable, not to mention a very gifted storyteller. We also love that a portion of the ticket sales go towards preserving the historical landmarks at which they lead tours, ensuring that they are around for future generations to enjoy. Overall an excellent value and an experience we highly recommend to anyone physically able to do so (there are some ladders and stairs, but it is not too rigorous).

Great informative tour guide. The tour was a nice blend of history and ghost stories. The USS Yorktown was also a great site to visit.

Kudos to Bull Dog Tours. My daughters and I enjoy visiting and learning the history of "haunted" venues across the country. Bull Dog guides offer many worthwhile and well managed opportunities. The tours start on time, are reasonably priced, and offer access to areas often overlooked or unavailable otherwise. We generally loathe "walk & talk" tours, preferring a more interactive and open exploration approach. However, our guide, Jack, made this one fun and easy with his subject knowledge, incredible patience, thoughtfulness, and entertaining style. The USS Yorktown after hours tour did not disappoint. We'll be back and Bull Dog will be our preferred tour source. Thanks, Jack!

My husband and I did the ghost tour of the USS Yorktown with Tad and it was a highlight of our trip in Charleston. We’re so glad we booked it and Tad was very knowledgeable about the ship and its history, super funny, and I loved the spooky vibes the ship gave off at night. Definitely take this tour if you’re in Charleston!!

Tad did a phenomenal job highlighting the history of the ship and it's crew. The views from the top deck of the carrier were stunning and picture worthy. This is a must do for a trip to Charleston.

I am not a history buff by any stretch of the imagination, but this was a great experience! Our guide was fantastic and helped make everything about the USS Yorktown very fascinating. Very cool to be on the ship listening to what life was like and what the sailors accomplished!

It’s entertaining, take pics with you flash off in the dark corridor, you will be surprised with what you shows up.
