Tad was an absolutely fantastic tour guide on the USS Yorktown Ghost Tour. He’s an incredible storyteller with a deep knowledge of the ship’s history and legends, and he brought every story to life in a way that was engaging, fun, and genuinely spooky. He created a welcoming, safe space to ask questions and encouraged curiosity, which made the experience feel personal and interactive rather than scripted. You could tell he truly loves what he does, and that energy made the entire tour so much fun. Tad is a huge reason this tour was such a memorable highlight of our time in Charleston—highly recommend!

It was late, but our guide was great and very knowledgeable. I approached being able to explore the ship after hours when there weren’t large crowds around.

What a wonderful place to visit. It was such an interesting time on the ship. You wouldn’t,think it was soo big from a distance. There is manyareas that you can see on the boat where they sleep, ate, the engine area, etc. There are many stairs, like ladders to go up and down. But there are some elevator. It was amazing that where my husband worked had there Christmas party on the Yorktown loved are visit. There is so much to see. Worth a visit.

This was such a fun experience! Tad was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide - interesting and fun information especially regarding the ‘spirits’ on the ship. Suggest going to the 9:00 pm tour for a little extra eerie-ness lol

You will get history and paranormal experiences on this awesome tour! Tad is a fantastic host and tour guide! He is local and has been inlove with The Yorktown since She arrived in Charleston! He asked that we tell everyone hes an amazing son-in-law as well as host! We were a small group of 5 and Tad made sure all questions were answered and that we didn't miss anything. My husband saw odd lights in one area and I felt a nudge as some long gone seaman pushed by me. I highly recommend this tour to all! Thank you Tad for being an amazing host and Merry Christmas!

It was really fun exploring late at night. Andrew is a great storyteller — you can definitely tell he was born for this! As a local, I love seeing the Yorktown preserved both physically and through storytelling.
