I am not a fan of ghost tours but decided to go with my family. I'm so glad I did. The tour was very historically informative and the ghost info was interesting too. Bruce our tour guide was the best. I would recommend to any adults. Also, we can't wait to visit the Yorktown during daytime hours.

This was our 3rd tour with Bulldog Tours and it ended up being great despite a fairly sizable wrinkle in the plan. When we arrived we heard loud booming music and saw several well dressed college kids walking toward the ship and on the flight deck. Looked like a prom. I was confused. What the heck was going on?! A ghost tour with Beyoncé blaring? Our tour guide Dustin approached us to let us know that unbeknownst to Bulldog, there was a huge party being held on the ship and the flight deck would NOT be available to us as advertised. Apparently there is poor communication between the ship, Bulldog Tours, and the city. Seems simple to rectify. Start talking people! Several other participants chose to leave & call for a refund. We decided to stick it out. We also could not reschedule as this was our last night in Charleston. We figured seeing the ship inside would still be kinda cool. Let me tell you…DUSTIN SAVED THIS TOUR. There was only 4 of us left for the tour but he was AWESOME. He took us into the world of this notable military vessel providing insights and tons of history. He also works security on the ship and shared stories of his own ghost investigations and experiences. Very cool! Would we have liked to see the flight deck? Absolutely. But honestly Dustin was SO GOOD that we felt we got enough for our admission cost. Bulldog Tours is a great, well run company with fantastic and knowledgeable guides. Like I said, this was our 3rd tour with them during our stay in Charleston and I would recommend them to any and everyone! Top notch! Tour! You won’t be disappointed!

One of the best tours in Charleston. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the USS Yorktown. His genuine enthusiasm was a breath of fresh air and transferred to the people on the tour. I had never been on any Naval vessel and this experience was great.
