We spend the night at the Hostal de Sal - Juan de Rosario. In a double, triple or quadruple room (depending on availability)

Salar de Uyuni
We will meet in the center of Uyuni to take our vehicle 4 = 4 for 6 people, in which we will do the whole tour during the three days. We will leave for the Salar de Uyuni, passing through the train cemetery and the city of Colchani before, where we can buy handicrafts. After that, once we are in the salt plain, we will visit the Salt Museum, and travel to the Incahuasi Island, a limestone formation in the center of the salt plain. Here we will be able to walk along a track, see the giant cactus and have a privileged view of the salt plain from the top of the hill. We will end the day watching the sunset inside the salar, and then we can go to the salar hostel in San Juan del Rosario, where we will have dinner and rest for the next day.

Laguna Colorada
We will leave in the morning of San Juan del Rosario and continue along the road that passes through the Salar de Chiguana. We will visit the lagoons of Canapa, Hedionda, Honda and Chiarcota, before entering the Siloli Desert. Here we will see the Stone Tree, a volcanic rock that, as can be deduced from the name, is shaped like a tree. We will end the day at the Laguna de Colorado, a nesting center for more than 30,000 flamingos. We will spend the night at the Huayllajara Refuge.

We will leave early in the morning to see the sunrise in the Geysers of the Morning Sun, intermittent sources of water that rise to a temperature of 90 ° C, and where we will have the opportunity to take photographs using the contrasts of the first lights and steam. We will also visit the Termas de Polques (bath time, according to the times of the tour), the Salvador Dalí Desert, and the Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca, located on the slopes of the Licancabur volcano. After that, we will begin our direct return to Uyuni, where we will end the tour.

The welcome is made by two smiling, funny and friendly people who will be happy to support and help you:) We did the Death Road with them and it was great and economical, the guides were fantastic and the day was amazing! Now... let's talk about Huayna Potosi! The team of guides is amazing. On average, they climb Huayna Potosí 20 times a month in the middle of the season. You know what they're talking about! But the most important thing is that they know each other well, they are friends, even brothers for Javier and Luis, and even their father is there:) It feels in the general environment, and it works! The guides are amazing, fun and, above all, give you confidence in this ascent that is far from easy. What a joy it was the experience we lived! Even when there are setbacks, such as a small minibus breakdown, that can happen, the team finds a solution quickly and with a smile:) Thank you for everything, South Trek and Huayna Potosí’s super competent guides allowed me to experience what has been one of the most intense moments of my life so far. Because the ascent reaches 6088m for a really affordable price! Thanks for this good atmosphere! South Trek est situé dans Sagarnaga comme la plupart des agences. 5.00Very good! We did 3 tours with South Treks (Uyuni, Huayna Potosi and Pampas). Everything went well, there was good communication with the local tour operators, and the people of the agency are friendly and helpful. Just note that most tours are in spanish and not in english.

5.00The Salar de Uyuni is one of those unique experiences that must be lived with body and soul. The immensity of the white desert and the dominant silence are a spiritual experience. Our tour was not offered directly by SouthTrecks, but by another tour operator that they assigned to us in Uyuni. There was a bit of a lack of coordination at the beginning, but later everything developed correctly and according to the itinerary. The natural beauties of the highlands erase any human mistakes.

5.00Look no further, this is the agency to book with! We booked both the Death Road and 3-day Uyuni trip with this agency. The night before doing the Death Road my girlfriend got sick and we had to postpone the trip, and the day before the Uyuni-trip I god sick and we had to postpone. In both cases, South Treks were very flexible, and let us postpone without any problems and no extra charge. It’s always irritating being sick on vacation, but this agency really saved our Bolivia experience. In addition, both tours were great, and professionally executed from start to end. I can especially recommend the Uyuni trip, which was an “out of this world”-experience.

5.00The Salar Uyni is a dream, then we saw the lagoons along the way until we reached the Termas of Polkes where we spent the night. I fell in love with the landscapes, the nature so untouched. The agency of the supported all the time, guide Eric also treated very well with us. I would probably come back to take other trips, or at another time of year. Amazing.
Visit to the salar of uyuni. Then we slept in an amazing guesthouse. We visited a colored park. Amazing nature.

The owner of the agency, William, responded to all our requests and, both he and his team in La Paz in Uyuni, made our experience absolutely wonderful when it came to discovering the Salar, the Siloli Desert, the lagoons, the communal center of Polques or the border town of Villa Mar. Three days in Uyuni has been the ideal time for us to get to know this region. Judith’s lovingly made meal has been a true gods delicacy when we were in the middle of nature. We have never felt alone or unprotected, since La Paz with William, joined by a great team led by Cristina in Uyun,i we have given all the warmth we needed after the descent of the snowy mountains. We look forward to coming back to see more places... For all this, I highly recommend this agency, which also offers quality of Service at a good price.
