  We thoroughly enjoyed this experience, particularly the initial stop featuring underground barrels. Ms. Alyssa at Ercolani provided an exceptional explanation of the wines and the property's historical background. She also thoughtfully allowed our group time for personal interaction. Patricia Cencioni in Montacino was outstanding; their primary focus on Brunello wines was greatly appreciated. This establishment is female-owned, and the family was actively involved. One of the daughters guided us through the vineyards, detailing plant care and the regulations required for DOCG status, the highest possible rating. Inside, another colleague, recently returned to work, expertly described the wine's style and characteristics during our tasting session. We purchased several bottles and arranged for their shipment to the United States. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and we highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Sal, was engaging and significantly enhanced our day.

  If you love wine and learning about the winemaking process, this tour is perfect. Learned so much about Tuscany wines and fell in love with the Vino Nobile de Montelpuciano. Sal was a great driver and guide.

  Highly recommend this tour. We went to 2 wineries and learned a lot about their wines. Our driver was great and the guides at the wineries were very knowledgeable and helpful. The lunch was very good also. Definitely recommend it.

  Sal was our driver and awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of two wineries and lunch in Pienza. Would highly recommend the tour. It was. Ice to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside.

  Sal, our driver, was very pleasant to be with. Our first wine tasting was very good-just wished that the 2nd would have topped it. Lunch had an excellent view but service was slow & felt unorganized and didn’t give us much of a choice- even to upgrade if we chose to. Ask for Sal if you plan on going to this trip.

  This tour to Montalcino and Montepulciano, and the respective wine tasting experiences was exceptional. In Montalcino we visited a small family owned and operated winery which produces superlative Brunello wines. We tasted 4 Brunello’s, a Rosso a Rose and an IGT blend. Each of these wines was unique and delicious. I bought a mixed case! Lunch in Pienza at a small Trattoria was a refreshing respite between our tasting experiences. In Montepulciano we visited a subterranean winery dating back to the medieval and early renaissance periods, with one section dug in 400 BCE by the Etruscans! The Vino Nobile wines we tasted were delicious. Our driver, Christina was knowledgeable and helpful. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the beautiful countryside of Val D’Orca and experiencing the exceptional wines of Montalcino and Montepulciano.

  A day we will never forget! The incredible countryside and fantastic wine were made even better by our guide. Paola was absolutely delightful, charming and incredibly knowledgeable of both the region and the wines. She made It fun and treated us like royalty. You could not pick better places to represent the magic of Tuscany. A special note- although the tour was to be 8 people, only my wife and I arrived so we had a private tour. I don’t think many or any other tour companies would have honored the commitment and followed through. For that we will be forever grateful.
