My husband and I usually take a walking tour the first morning we arrive in a new city. This tour was fine. I was a bit distracted because we had a lot of people who came late and the group was very large — 30 people. The guide didn’t have everyone introduce themselves which I previously didn’t appreciate but missed it when it wasn’t done yesterday it’s an opportunity to meet new people and make the group more cohesive. There were many historical stories but not so much about the here and now and what we see. For instance, one of the last sentences of her 2.5 hour walk was “those additions on the grandmaster palace are balconies and showed wealth.” A bit underwhelming especially when I passed another tour going on describing in detail the buildings and the “pregnant” ironwork covering the windows.

Marissa did a great job explaining the history of Valletta. She was very knowledgeable, informative and easy to understand. We were glad we had over the ear headsets to hear her clearly. Marissa was concise and explained things very well. We were very happy to have this overview on our 1st day in Malta.

Excellent tour with Nadine. We added the optional St. John’s Cathedral tour and it was well worth it. Amazing!

This was a very informative tour. I learned a lot about Valletta and Malta in general. Our guide, Andrea, was excellent. You could tell she was very experienced, and she shared a lot of knowledge with us. Plus she is a native Maltese, so it felt like a very authentic experience. Highly recommended!
