What To Expect
Manoel Island
Fort Manoel is a star fort on Manoel Island in Gżira, Malta. It was built in the 18th century by the Order of Saint John, during the reign of Grand Master António Manoel de Vilhena, after whom it is named. Fort Manoel is located to the north west of Valletta, and commands Marsamxett Harbour and the anchorage of Sliema Creek. The fort is an example of Baroque architecture, and it was designed with both functionality and aesthetics in mind.
Fort St Elmo
Fort Saint Elmo (Maltese: Forti Sant'Iermu) is a star fort in Valletta, Malta. It stands on the seaward shore of the Sciberras Peninsula that divides Marsamxett Harbour from Grand Harbour, and commands the entrances to both harbours along with Fort Tigné and Fort Ricasoli. It is best known for its role in the Great Siege of Malta of 1565.

3.00The visit is beautiful at the end of the day with the sunset and lights on... BUT no comment in French as advertised and ESPECIALLY the walk lasted 65 minutes instead of 90!!!! That’s almost A THIRD LESS... that’s not right at all!!! Unfriendly staff except with people who tip at the exit ... In short... you must know before and it is up to you to choose!

5.00Very good experience in Harbor with Rambo. I feel sorry it's only in German but it's fine. More languages are appreciated to better value the experience.

5.00Best rocky boat, Rambo was the best! IC4 boat. Boat was very rocky but it added to the fun, we loved the trip , great views and sights

5.00Recommend boarding as soon as allowed. We boarded 30 mins ahead of departure, all seats around the edge of the boat were taken, some by others “bagging” empty seats for friends still to show up.

1.00Guide/Bus showed up half hour late with no communication. 15+ nervous people standing on a street corners waiting. No audio devices on a walking tour so we heard little of what she said. When we could hear her, she didn't talk about Malta's history, only how wonderful it was to be independent of Britain, how hard it was to do renovations on homes, and how awful the young people of Malta are now. When I asked her a simple history question, she couldn't answer it. Tour was a total waste of time and money.

2.00A scenic enough tour, but there were problems. No time was given when booking, so I had to ask. We were given three time slots and were told to arrive 15mins early. We arrived in very good time but were held at the gate so a coach load of people could get on - despite having tickets! Luckily, they let us on (others were not so lucky) and they departed 20mins before the actual time. Commentary was interesting but minimal and the French commentary was much more detailed than the English. When booking, the opportunity to get off and visit the science centre was mentioned, but never materialised in the trip (which did not bother us, but would have if we planned to visit it!)

5.00Very beautiful. Very rich!!! Ramom 4 trips beautiful and nice I highly recommend! There visitor muyamena, us direcion a tour all over there Valletta besides in the explanatory on all there route in English and Spanish
