This was a great tour. We hit all the best spots in Vancouver. First we went to Stanley Park to see the totem poles. Then on to explore Capilano suspension bridge park that features the suspension bridge, a tree top walk and a cliff walk. We then moved on to Granville Island where we had lunch at the Sandbar. Definitely worth it. Our guide Natalia was very knowledgeable and gave great insights to the history of Vancouver.

Warning: This review might be a little long ! in summary - just book this tour already ask for JOEL the pianist! Our tour guide and driver: Joel (Local Guide) and Simran (Driver) took great care with my group of 12! Our guide has a great sense of humor and loves sharing city history and details. Both are professional and respectful with all the people on tour with the company. They felt like family. Joel: Thank you for such an informative and fun experience in the city. I especially like your connection with Vancouver being your hometown. We can tell that you are very passionate about sharing all the little details about your city. Love the details about Vancouver buildings transitioning their black glass windows to clear windows to have them blend in with the environment - the unfortunate effects of drugs in the city and the way you just interact with my family members and strangers during the tour. Just super friendly and funny all around! The experience: It was stress free as we all got to enjoy seeing a bunch of different areas. MAJOR STOPS: The Capilano Suspension bridge is a structural marvel nested in the forest. (Maybe not for people who have fear of heights.) There are different sections that you can explore. My group( mostly in the 60-80+ Yr old range) were able to traverse the sections. Definitely wear comfortable shoes as there is lots of walking but don’t fret for those who don’t want to walk too far as there are cafes in the park and right outside the park. ( I love seeing the little copper plate patching in the boardwalks!) Stanley Park: Surrounded by green everywhere - I hope the tree beetles and hemlock loopers damaging the trees stop infesting the beautiful trees. If we had more time in Vancouver, I could probably spend a whole day enjoying nature here. Vancouver Bay and the English Bay surround the perimeter of the park. Seems like a lot of locals were enjoying using this park as well. Granville Island: We took the aquabus to the island so it was a fun experience to be in the water. We had enough time to grab a bite to eat and enjoy the different shops and local food at the public market. It was Easy to navigate and explore. This place is a treat for people watching and boats roaming in the water. Lots of sitting areas situated all around the deck and in the market. Colorful murals give the island color. We were very fortunate to have this tour on a beautiful sunny day. Vancouver is a great city to explore and touring with STAR SIGHTSEEING made it memorable! Thanks again JOEL and SIMRAN. Other places and landmarks we visit: Lionsgate Bridge Chinatown Canada Place Gastown The ride: Our bus had a clean bathroom, seats were spacious ,cool A/C and had convenient phone charging ports for usb-c and usb-a.

The end to end experience was seamless. Online booking engine was intuitive and easily navigated. A text message was received updating arrival time at our hotel for pick up. Natalia, our tour guide came into the hotel to collect us - we didn't have to wait on the footpath. The bus was clean, modern and spacious. Equipped with seatbelts, armrest, air vents, a rear toilet and ample storage under bus for wheelchair or other mobility devices for passengers requiring such items. Bus driver; Simran, presented professionally. Smartly dressed pressed white shirt and uniform. More in keeping with an executive limousine driver. Simran's driving was the best I've experienced. Smooth on the throttle, easy on the brake pedal, didn't tailgate the car in front, didn't use his horn, such a relaxed drive I was able to give my full attention to the sights and Natalia's commentary. Natalia our tour guide had an easy personality, making all on the tour "feel at ease" Her commentary came as informative, but in a relaxed cadence. Any jokes she shared were appropriate, and she had no annoying habits; eg: overused words or phrases, no repetitive um's or ah's The tour was well spaced in terms of stops, whether to see sights, to have lunch or stretch our legs. We were dropped back to our hotel after a 6hr tour that passed quickly. Thank you Natalia & Simran for your hospitality.

Booked direct with Star Sightseeing online at 6.30am the day of the tour with no trouble. Received email confirmation swiftly which advised the time of pick up from our hotel (9.40am). Our tour guide Natalia came into the hotel lobby to collect us and escort us to the bus. The bus was so impressive - brand new and super clean and comfortable! Our driver Simran was excellent - giving us a safe and comfortable journey. Natalia was so knowledgeable about Vancouver and was able to keep us informed and entertained throughout the day. The tour was perfect to give us an overview of the city, so we know where we would like to return for in-depth exploration by ourselves on the future. The Capilano suspension bridge park was fantastic - it is very well done! We were given complimentary bottles of cold water, which was most welcome. We have no hesitation in recommending this tour and company to anyone wanting a comfortable and enjoyable day in Vancouver. In fact we enjoyed our day with Natalia so much that we are planning on booking the Whistler tour with Star sightseeing when we return to Vancouver in a week!!

The tour was fantastic and what really made it an enjoyable experience was our guide Joe and driver Kostas. It was a nice relaxing day exploring the beautiful city of Vancouver. Everyone was really patient with us traveling with a kid under 2 and elderly parents.
