Ticket valid for 24 or 48 consecutive hours. Ticket validation cannot be split over days.

Stop Frequency depends on season. Summer is every 20-30 minutes and Winter is every 60-70 minutes (subject to change)

Hop-On Hop-Off buses are now equipped to accommodate collapsible/foldable wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Guests may activate ticket in Big Bus app or in person with Big Bus staff at Stop #1, or with driver at any stop along the route

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect

Downtown Route

Duration:1 hour 30 minutes

Operating Schedule:Duration of route is 90 minutes. Hop-On at any stop along the route. May through September: First tour starts around 8:45am, last pick-ups of the day start at 5:00pm. Frequency is every 20 minutes. October through April: First tour starts around 9:45am, last pick-ups of the day start at 3:15pm. Frequency is every 60 minutes. (Schedule and frequency is subject to change.)

This was a great tour. This is what we do first when visiting a new city. We learned a lot about the history and the city in general from Sherry. She was interesting and amusing.

Simon our bus driver was excellent. Fun commentary and gave tips about things to do and see. Booking guy was excellent too, helpful and friendly. We bought 2 days and discounted entry to Capilano. Only used one day on bus in the end but price worked ok.

There isn't much to see on this tour - which is clear from the stops. It just helps you get around the city - although taking transportation/uber would likely have been more cost efficient. It wasn't clear to me that I could listen to the audio from the Big Bus Tour app, which I would have preferred to do. I'll clearly be the the minority here but while Sherry did her job with gusto - her commentary/comedic performance just wasn't for me or what I was looking for.

Let’s start with the highlight… Sherry like the wine 🩷 agree with the comments saying she should be queen of Vancouver! We had 2 days of tripping around with her and we learned so much! She is an absolute treasure, and made us laugh so much! We did some cool things, loved buying puppets at Granville Island and Flyover Canada. Kindest regards from the Kiwi girls xx

First time in Vancouver so taking the HOHO tour seemed like the best option to see the city and it didn’t disappoint. Sherry (like the Spanish wine) was so kind, effervescent, and very knowledgeable about the city. Truly enjoyed her tour, definitely one of the highlights of the day. Thank again!
