It was first time kayaking for me. It was a birthday gift for someone. Scott was our guide. He's very friendly and is always ready to solve your questions or help you navigate the stream when you're finding it difficult. Loved the experience!

We took part in the Evening Cruise Kayak Tour the 9th August with Kat as our guide, and it was an amazing experience. It’s a beautiful kayaking tour throughout the coast and the city harbor, with a unique point of view of the city, interesting stories, anecdotes and a great guide. We would definitely repeat the experience!

We are a family of five with three children ages 21, 19 and 16 and we all absolutely loved the evening kayaking tour! It was the perfect way to see the city - Holly was our guide and she was so informative in such a friendly manner and engaged with the whole family. We’d really recommend this tour as a way of sightseeing in Vancouver and discovering more about the city!!

The guided kayaking tour we took with Vancouver Water Adventures was beyond our expectations. Our guide, Jayden, was very kowledgable and personable. We enjoyed him very much. We did not have much experience and had not kayaked in a number of years but he was very relaxed and gave us time to get familiar with the kayaks. He had great stories to tell and fact to share. It's a great way to get some history of the city. We started on time and because we had a small group we were on the water for 3 full hours and were able to go farther down the water. There is plenty of parking right near the meeting place since they start early in the morning (9:00 AM). You are able to store your belongings in their trailer so they don't get wet. Your clothes will get a bit wet so wear something that dries quickly. Jayden brought a camera in a water proof case to take pictures of us on the water which he e-mailed to us within a few hours. All in all a very enjoyable morning and we'd highly recommend Vancouver Water Adventures.

Our group of 6 adults included both experienced and non-experienced kayakers and this tour had something for all of us. The equipment was of excellent quality and our guide, Tierney, was extremely talented and helpful in leading us throughout the tour. The facilities allowed us to change and store our bags of dry clothes (which we recommend bringing for after just in case you get way - voluntarily or otherwise) as well as secured any valuables that we did not want to take in the kayaks with us. The kayaks themselves also offered storage that you could use at the slight risk that something could get wet (it is a water sport after all) and our guide put our jackets in a dry bag, just in case. The kayaks were easy to learn and maneuver but also offered some new features that our experienced kayakers had not encountered before. We were able to cruise leisurely and expeditiously through the fjord waters just beneath the rocky mountains and made a few stops at various islands sprinkled throughout the waterway. Each featured astounding views and a wonderful respite to just enjoy our time. We stopped for lunch, provided by the tour, one of these islands and enjoyed snacking on sandwiches and donuts! It was a beautiful day and a beautiful adventure that we would recommend to anyone who is interested. A truly unique area of Vancouver.

My daughter and I had a great time on our 2 & ½ hour kayak tour! Claire was a terrific tour leader. She was very knowledgeable and made sure we all were comfortable. We were blessed with good weather. Near one dock a woman not on the tour heard Claire’s talk to us and asked how she could sign up! The paddling was not strenuous. If you are thinking of a kayaking adventure, I definitely recommend this company and Claire.

My wife and I took the kayaking tour of Vancouver. It was just the two of us in the group. We had an awesome time. Vanessa and Killian gave us a great tour and had a ton of interesting information about the city. We both really enjoyed this tour and it was really good value for what you get out of the tour. You do not need any kayaking experience as they provide training and a safety overview before the tour.

Such a cool way to see the city. Scott showed us all the cool books and crannies of false bay and helped the more novice kayakers feel at ease. He’s also great at spotting wildlife in the middle of a busy waterway. Perfect way to spend a morning.
