Your journey will offer you unparalleled views of downtown Vancouver as you maneuver along the Strait of Georgia and beyond in your search for wildlife.
Please note: Tour may last anywhere between 3 and 5 hours, depending on when you see wildlife, though tours are typically around 4 hours in length.

What To Expect
Departing from historic Granville Island, join Vancouver’s Original Whale Watchers on an intimate west coast adventure. Every tour is different as we explore the Strait of Georgia, Howe Sound, the Canadian Gulf Islands, and beyond in search of killer whales, humpbacks, seals, sea lions, eagles, and more! Sightings guaranteed or your next trip is free. Your adventure is professionally guided by a marine naturalist who will share insight on animal behaviour and provide you with a personalized educational experience. You will learn about the wildlife, ecology, history, and geography of our coast with particular emphasis on marine conservation. Tours vary between 3-5 hours depending on where the whales are on the day of your adventure. PLEASE NOTE: Height restriction of 5ft/152cm to participate.

5.00Amazing experience! A big thank you to Jasmine, she definitely answered many questions and share so much info, a big thank you to our captain too. We got to see many many orcas and whales. One roca even jumped, it was an amazing experience :)

5.00Very friendly Staff. We saw about 10 different Humpbacks. Unfortunately, no Orcas. This was a great trip. We went out on the Zodiac boat.. very smooth ride, lived it!

5.00Mel and Jacob guided us around with great passion. We saw hunchback whales and a lot of orca's. The latter were playing around, jumping in the air and smashing their tail on the water. I never saw such a wonderful event in nature. It gave me goosebumps. Mel also gave us interesting insights into the animals we were seeing. Great combo and fortunately we had also good weather! Definitely a recommendation while you're in Vancouver!

5.00Don’t hesitate to book! The small boat capacity makes sure that you see whales unobstructed. The crew we had (Jasmine, Saz, and Julia) were wonderful. Friendly, knowledgeable and made us all feel comfortable. We saw so many whales. Most incredible experience

5.00We had an incredible experience on our Whale Watching tour! Highly recommend booking the 12 person zodiac, it was a blast even before seeing any wildlife, not to mention such an up close and personal experience while on the water. We saw a pod of Killer Whales, 3 humpback whales, and sea lions, it was amazing. We loved our conservationist/biologist, Charlotte, and captain, Jacob. They were both so knowledgable and respectful of the marine life and you can tell they were having as much fun as we were. Their love, passion, and respect for the wildlife made this a feel-good experience! We were in the water for the full 5 hours and we could have stayed out all day, it was the highlight of our trip.
