If you sit in the back, you will get VERY wet. The guides will tell you infinite facts if you let them know you're really interested and ask questions. We saw two humpbacks on our excursion, breaching many times. we had the open air boat (not the zodiac) and it was perfect. Some reviews complain about getting bored- I'd say that's only a concern if you don't enjoy being outside, taking in the incredible views, and riding on a boat. We enjoyed the travel out to the location of the whales and back as much as the whale watching.

We loved the experience. There are a couple of companies that offer that tour, but my main reason for choosing them was that they depart from Granville Island, which made it much easier for us to get there since we were staying in downtown Vancouver. We saw humpback whales , orcas and seals. It was cool experience .

We were really hoping to see Orcas and we DID! This is an excellent whale watching company! We were really happy to be wearing the orange suits as it was much colder on the water. Beth and Ashley were fantastic!!

Our boat captain was Rodrigo and Sarah was our nature guide. We chose to go on the covered boat and it was good for us as it wet and cold on our day in September, duration was around four hours at sea. We saw five humpback whales, individually and at play in groups. Once spotted, we were given ample time to view behaviour and take photos. Plus some seals.

We booked the zodiac tour and had a fab time. Honour our naturalist was great and very knowledgeable about not only the whales but also the surrounding areas. Ashley our captain was also fab and gave us a fun adventure on the zodiac. We were very lucky seeing orcas and humpbacks, as well as harbour seals. As with all wildlife tours it's down to the animals whether they want to come out and play but the zodiac in itself was really cool so even without seeing whales it would have been a good day. Thank you Wild Whales for a great time!
