Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.
If access is restricted due to private events inside St. Mark's Basilica and/or Doge's Palace, we cannot be held responsible. This is a situation beyond our control. No refund will be issued.
In case of unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather (heavy rain, strong wind, high tide) conditions that prevent the gondola ride from taking place or any operational or safety reasons beyond our control it may be substituted for another experience, but no refund will be provided.
Due to the religious nature of sites on this tour, all individuals (regardless of gender) must cover their shoulders and knees. It is acceptable to bring extra coverings to put on just before entering a holy site. Walks cannot be responsible for anyone denied entry.
This tour is non-refundable. All guests must supply their full name that matches a valid ID at the time of the booking. Should you fail to provide these, your reservation will be canceled. Name changes are not permitted.

Please note that a photo ID is required to visit the St. Marks Basilica. Failure to bring an ID can result in the security staff refusing your entrance to the monument.
8:30am tour is limited to 20 people and includes a lunch break on your own, while the 8:15am tour does not include a lunch break (shorter duration of 4 hours) and a maximum of 25 people in your group.

4.00The basilica, doge palace and gondola ride are worth it, the rest is unnecessary. It felt like time was being filled up to justify the cost. The guide was great. Doing a shorter tour would be better and it gives you more time to explore. The bell tower was worth going up but of course is not on this tour.

5.00If you're looking for the best way to see Venice in a day, look no further than the excellent hands of Nico and Walks of Italy! Our family had limited time to see this incredible city before departing for a cruise, and this thoughtfully planned itinerary was the perfect balance of maximizing our time and seeing as much as possible, without being too overwhelming. We had never booked a private tour through an independent company before, and after this experience we would not hesitate to do it again. We have no shortage of great things to say about our guide, Nico, who was arguably one of the best guides we've had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we met him at the pickup point, we could instantly tell we were in excellent hands. Nico's incredible wealth of knowledge and warm personality was evident throughout the entire day—he answered all of our questions with a great sense of humor and allowed us ample time to rest and take pictures during the tour. All in all, we could not be happier with this once-in-a-lifetime experience. It was without a doubt the highlight of our trip!
