  • Needs better pick up instructions

Viator needs to send directions about checking inside the terminal at Booth 71. Not knowing, lots of passengers cross the walkway to water transport which is a 10 min walk to the docks but then, they have to come back to the airport to check in. Wasteful!

It was said it is a shared Watertaxi with 6 or 8 People, well we were packed with 14 other people. So all together 16 people cramped on that little boat!!! Never again...you have more space if you take a regular Vaporetto for like €5.

It does not drop off and pick up at the Ruzzini Palace hotel. You have about an 8 minute walk. The guide was supposed to be English speaking but could only point in a direction. Boat was fine but very packed in. Not much clear info was given before hand.

The service and transfer were excellent but it is a long walk from the airport to the boat for someone who is 70.

The Ride was fine but be aware you are only buying a voucher NOT A TICKET. Before you walk the 10 minutes to the water Taxi pickup, stop before leaving the airport at the Ticket Counter BEFORE leaving the airport proper.

My wife and I recently visited Venice for a short break. We booked both a Link Arrival and Departure Water Taxi shared transfer from Marco Polo Airport. The service was excellent, it's quite a walk to the check-in and pier but well organised. The arrival transfer dropped us off at our hotel dock on the Grand Canal, and the departure transfer picked us up at the same place. Overall a very good experience.

  • Waste of time and money

Terrible all round. Directions given on the app are awful. When you arrive it is a ten minute walk from the airport to the jetty where the boats leave. And it is not signposted anywhere to say which is the correct jetty to go to. After eventually finding the right one I was then told I had to go back to the airport to get a physical ticket from the desk even though the app had allowed me to print my tickets. I then had to wait at the desk until they had enough people to fill the boat and find a boat! Why is none of this explained. About another 30 minutes of waiting then the ten minute walk back to the jetty again! The boat does not look like the picture and was a much bigger boat with at least 12 people crammed into it. The driver was rude. And because we were the last stop it took around an hour and half after setting off. So in total around two and half hours. Just after a flight this is the opposite of the experience I wanted and was absolutely disgusted. Plus just time wasted.

Once we figured out where our taxi company was everything went very easy. We just asked someone in the airport and they pointed us in the right direction. They just had us check in and wait until the driver showed up and we followed him to the dock where he loaded our bags and took us to our hotel on the grand canal. There were a lot of people on the taxi but it was very nice
