Apostoli • Rialto • San Silvestro • Ca' Rezzonico • San Vio, Trinita • Accademia • S.Marco, S.Zaccaria • S.Maria Elisabetta • Sant'Angelo and Hotel Dei Dogi (for guests staying in this hotel, Residenza Cannaregio or Hotel Ai Mori d'Oriente). The boat will alter its route (where possible) to drop you at the most convenient stop available to your Venice Hotel. This service is available for minimum 2 travelers. It must be pre-booked at least 24 hours prior to arrival and cannot be arranged when you arrive so get in early and book online today. When making a booking, you will need to advise your flight details and your Venice hotel details. As soon as your transfer is confirmed, you will be provided with a travel voucher to present to the driver. It's easy. Passengers are advised that this is a shared transfer and you may be required to wait up to 30 minutes before transferring to your water taxi and onto Venice stops.

4.00The instructions said to go to desk 71 at the end of the mobile walkway. It’s actually at the beginning of the walkway! I went to the end, went down to the dock and couldn’t find any information about where to meet the boat. I went back upstairs and started walking back Towards the airport and gave up and went back down to the dock. Fortunately, another guest has the same experience and we were able to find the boat together. The boat operator was wonderful though and the overall experience was good.

1.00A man at the airport indicated that we would be on a shared service to the San Marco piazza, the drop of at the hotel as stated on the voucher would not be honored. Moreover 2 other friends couldn’t join on our trip as they had to pay first at the airport center before they could join on the trip. All very complicated. We decided with our friends to take an other watertaxi instead of going thru the hassle. We still hope for a refund for the unused watertaxi.

2.00This was a very expensive way to transfer from the airport to our hotel. We had 8 people and cost nearly $400 USD. Our hotel arranged a transport back and it was less than half. The boat looked the same. I recommend checking with your accommodations about transferring from the airport. I will add that while we had a 45 minute wait at the airport (yes, we booked months in advance), it was nice not having to go on the big boat. The boat was also clean & felt safe.

Not Worth the Hassle

1.00The instructions are lacking essential information to find voucher and check in area which is a little office # 71 to the left of the doors before you exit to the boat docks. The lack of this simple information resulted in us just following the signs to “ water taxis “ a 10 minute walk from terminal with luggage to find out by asking other water taxi vendors how to find our boat. I had to separate from wife and begin adventure of following directions from very kind Italian man to find office # 71. There is literally only a small white sign with the # 71 on it. After searching the terminal I finally found it. At this point you present the voucher and wait till enough people arrive and then they send you to the boat docks. The boat is extremely small and very difficult to get into and out as well to see things on the trip. The local public water taxis are large comfortable and you simply get a ticket at the dock where boats are for about half the price. There is no advantage to taking this excursion boat it simply takes you directly to your stop for twice the cost and three times the hassle. All this being said if Viator had simply “ said that you can find redemption site at booth #71 to left side of terminal just before you go through doors to water taxis “ this may have changed the whole experience for us.
