The experience was as good as could be except you are packed in like cattle. Also I'm short, 5'3 and had to duck my head to get in.

You arrive in Venice from Marco Polo by water taxi. The booking process, communication and the journey were all slickly handled. Note the meeting point to go to the docks is a 10 minute walk in the terminal from baggage collection but there are moving walkways.

Ugh. Just the worst. I’m sorry but this is not a seamless or intuitive experience. And our boat pilot took fares in between the stops for extra cash, I suppose, and completely disregarded our discomfort with the extra time. I mean, I just can’t with this provider. Keep looking. Even the provided phone number is defunct. Yikes.

The ride was quick and dropped us off about 2-3 minutes walk to our hotel. The boat was too crowded would be my main complaint. We were lucky to be in the back and able to take pictures, but further inside the boat there was no visibilty because the windows had salt residue on them.

We struggled to find the ticket redemption point. Having clearer information on the location included in the app would improve this. It’s only found near the bottom of the pdf document. The shared trip into Venice was a good experience and we were dropped near our hotel.

Read the fine print. Must go to a separate area to get your boat number. Hen wait for the group. We had 12 people on the boat. Driver was not happy and did not handle the bags with care. Threw bags around.

Boat driver did not drop us off at hotel even though we specifically selected our hotel because it had boat access. This was very disappointing and resulted in us lugging our luggage through very crowded streets. Driver also seemed confused and went to an incorrect location that added time and I think caused frustration on his part.

Maximiliano, our driver, was amazing. Very kind and dropped us off closer to our hotel than we expected. We only had 4 other people on the boat with us (total of 6) so our drive was short. He lets us stand up when we were in the city to see the views. The only area I would suggest for improvement is instructions on finding the desk #71. We had to ask for help. When you exit the baggage claim, go to the left and take the escalator to the second floor (Follow the signs for the water taxi) - desk 71 is at the end of the hall, before you go down the hall to the water taxis. We checked in, waited for about 30 minutes and the they gave us a paper with the pier and boat number. That is when we started down the long terminal to the water taxis.
