When it’s time to leave, just hop on a shared water taxi at the boat stop nearest to your hotel in central Venice or Venice Lido (see the itinerary for all 11 stops) at the scheduled time. Relax and enjoy one last view of the city as you’re transported to the airport. To book, please provide your flight and Venice accommodation details. Your transfer will be confirmed immediately, and you’ll receive a travel voucher to show the driver. Please reconfirm your exact pickup time and location 24-48 hours before your departure from Venice using the contact number on your voucher. You’ll receive a final confirmation with your pickup time and location the afternoon before you leave, either at your hotel reception or through the Viator mail system.

2.00When I booked, I noticed that the starting point was very far from my hotel. I tried the Representative who gave me a starting point that was 3 minutes away and an approximate time. I was informed that I would receive an email informing me of the meeting point and the exact time after 3pm the day before. I never received the e-mail and I still went to the departure point on the morning of departure. Arriving at the scene, there were a few people waiting for the boat taxi. They had received an email the day before. When the taxi arrived, he had a list with the names of the clients to board. We weren't on the list. I had to argue with the driver, show him my reservation on the app etc...and after 10 minutes, he finally agreed to have us on board. A stress I would have really done without.
