1.00When booking you have to advise of your preferred pick up point, apparently there’s 11 to choose from but they don’t tell you what they are. I gave my hotel address and they advised of the pick up time and sent a link to the location. We went there and did what was advised, got on the incorrect boat which took us in the wrong direction! As we were now only 2 1/2 hours from our flight we had to pay 180 euros for a private water taxi.

2.00The water taxi driver was late to pick us up. The Trinita pier was extremely busy- other pick ups, garbage pick up boats, package delivery boats... Second pick up for our shared water taxi was quick but the last pick up- we waited for 15-20 minutes. We almost miss our plane when we finally arrive at the airport from the water taxi. It was extremely stressful. You should allow people to schedule their preferred pick up time to avoid this nerve-racking inconvenience.

5.00It is a good way to reach Venice, quick and immediately immerses you in the atmosphere. Our journey was smooth. Little waiting on the way there and on time for the return. The driver took a few detours through the small canals, which was enjoyable. We are indeed a bit cramped if the boat is full, but apart from that, nothing to complain about.
