This was a great experience! It was a fantastic way to see Venice by night, and to see areas and sights we might otherwise have missed. Our guide was very informative. The tales weren't exclusively ghost stories, but also gave a lot of background and insight on the history or Venice and the community.

Such a great tour! Our guide, Annalisa, is a true local, and gave us stories, anecdotes and history that lived up to the tour name - plenty of ghosts and murders! But beyond this, she also showed us many hidden areas and great views that we never would have found without a local guide. We did the tour at 6pm and it was a perfect time - not very busy with other tourists and very atmospheric. The guide was also very friendly and chatty, and encouraged us to ask questions. I was skeptical given the price but it was worth every penny.

We did this the evening of our arrival in Venice & it was a great way to get a bit acquainted with the alleys & how to get your bearings. The stories were fine, definitely nothing scary or creepy, but interesting. The guide pointed out suggestions for eating and was very nice.

This activity is a total scam, do not rely on good grades. The anecdotes sound very well known and are in all travel guides. Even if the guide is very friendly the content has no interest.

My friends and I did this tour in a small group (maybe 8-10 people) on a whim because we wanted top learn more about Venice. Annalissa was a knowledgeable tour guide throughout the whole 1.5 hour duration. I definitely recommend if you are looking for something short and sweet (spooky) - I just wished there were more spooky stories!

This was a fantastic thing to do with my teenagers. Our guide, Claudia, born and raised in Venice, exudes a real love and enthusiasm for her beautiful city. We learned about tragic love stories and dastardly deeds. We began to understand the history of this ancient place and were sad when the tour ended. One hundred percent recommend.
