Upgrade for late access to the Doge’s Palace by selecting the upgrade option at time of booking. With this option learn about the Higher Council Hall, the Doge's apartments, and the Bridge of Sighs as you explore.

Please note that there may be a break of up to 1 hour between your Doge’s Palace tour and your exclusive After Hour Visit, due to temporary earlier closing time at the Doge’s Palace. Your guide in this case will provide bar/restaurant recommendations

Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers.

Due to the religious nature of the Basilica, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. A scarf or shawl is acceptable. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry.

No refund will be provided if high tide prevents certain parts of the tour, but adjustments to the route will be made for client safety and comfort.

If access is restricted due to private events inside St. Mark's Basilica and/or Doge's Palace, we cannot be held responsible. This is a situation beyond our control. No refund will be issued.

At first I was skeptical that this wouldn't be worth the extra money, but was blown away. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be in these spaces and not surrounded by people. So much beauty don’t hesitate.

We were 5 mins late due to restaurant, chatted and called ahead to let them know. Found tour guide at the church, but they still would not let us in or let us join. We mentioned we didn’t even need headsets, just wanted to see inside of the church. Ruined an otherwise great trip to Venice. What a rude shame.

This is the perfect way to see the basilica with no crowds. Absolutely amazing! Our guide, Romy, was so knowledgeable not only about the history but of such fine details of the mosaics and the role of the Basilica. She spoke like a true expert and though she is a native Venetian, her English was so easy to understand. My husband and I had read quite a bit of info on the basilica prior to the tour but through our guide, we learned even more information. In addition, we were able to enter the crypt which is below the church. St. Mark’s is by far the most beautiful and amazing cathedral we have been to in Italy. It is like no other!
