This was a very exciting fun filled experience riding the rails thru the verde pass. We were amazed at how much you got for the money ! And being able to move freely from passenger car to open observation car was so cool !!

Get there a lil early to see the gift shop and museum there about the area and rail road. After enjoying the ride on the train drive into Clarkdale, to the left out of the train ride area. Then maybe drive into the town of Jerome.

The train ride was amazing and we had a friendly, informative host on the outdoor car. We picked up breakfast with the voucher before the ride. The breakast sandwiches and burritos were huge. When we got to our train seats, we were provided a snack tray with cheese, meat, crackers and fruit. If we had known this tray would be waiting for us we probably would not have ate the breakfast. Champagne and bottled water was also provided. The bar drinks and sodas were affordable. The gift shop was not over-priced (pull over hoodie $35) . We did not bring jackets and it was a little cool on the outdoor car. Great time!!

It was a great experience. It's beauful there. We had our 14 year old grandson with us and it was so fun. The staff was amazing as well. The food for lunch was really good and the champagne toast and snacks were the best.
